Miss West Virginia USA 2012 winner is Andrea Beth Rogers
Andrea Beth Rogers from Martinsburg was recently crowned as the new Miss West Virginia USA 2012 during a beauty competition held last October 30, 2011 at Days Inn Hotel, Conference Center, in Flatwoods West Virginia. She was crowned by Whitney Veach, Miss West Virginia USA 2011.
The 1st run-up position went to Erin Given of Craigsville. 2nd run-up was Andrea Turner of McMechen. The 3rd run-up was Jessica Schueler from Jumping Branch. And the 4th run-up place was Charisse Haislop of Parkersburg.
Completing the 10 semi-finalists were Erin Given of Craigsville, Allyson Conrad of Huntington, Sarah Thorne of Moorefield, Kristina Snider of Mineral Wells, Kayla May of Moyers and Taylor Eaton of Fraziers Bottom.
Andrea Beth Rogers stands 5’11" tall and currently working towards her Masters degree in Marketing Communications at West Virginia University. She is a Special Education Teacher at Berkeley County Schools. Andrea says her strongest talent is the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations, including children with special needs. Andrea is an active member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and has lived in Italy for an entire summer while studying during college. Her favorite hobbies include studying, teaching dance, snow skiing, traveling and cooking. She describes herself as multifaceted, passionate and optimistic.
Andrea Beth Rogers will compete in Miss USA 2012 pageant next year.
