Meet Miss Earth 2012 Candidates

The Miss Earth 2012 pageant will take place on November 24 at the Versailles Palace, Alabang in Muntinlupa City, Philippines and be broadcasted live via STAR World, ABS-CBN, Studio 23 and The Filipino Channel.

88 of the most beautiful, young and talented women around the world will compete for the coveted crown. This year's theme with the United Nations General Assembly’s declaration of 2012 as the "International Year of Sustainable Energy for All", which goal is to ensure universal access to modern energy services.

The reigning queen, Olga Alava from Ecuador will crown her the new winner in it's 12th edition of the annual beauty contest.

Kevin Balot of PH wins Miss International Queen 2012

The annual Miss International Queen pageant took place last November 2 at the Tiffany's Show Theater in Pattaya, Thailand. The stunning Kevin Balot from the Philippines emerged as the over-all winner bested out other 22 transgendered women around the world competed for the crown.

Kevin is from Tarlac City and veteran in joining beauty contests. She will receive a cash prize of USD 10,000 plus a trophy, Thai mobile phone and other sponsor's prize package. She will also be accommodated at the apartment in Woodlands Hotel & Resort during her reign with an elite access to Tiffany's Show Pattaya.

The 1st run-up was Jessika Simoes from Brazil, and the 2nd run-up was Thailand's Panvilas Mongkol.

Completing the top 10 semi-finalists were Michelle Montecarlo (Philippines), Miriam Jimenez (Philippines), Imanni da Silva (Angola), Beni Tukishima (Japan), Bianca Gold (Brazil), Matricia Mae Centino (Guam) and Sunny Dee-Lite (USA).

The best in Evening Gown award won by USA's Sunny Dee-Lite. Chosen by the official photographers as Miss Photogenic was Kevin Balot. Voted by her co-candidates as Miss Congeniality was Noah Herrera from Venezuela. Awarded as the best in National Costume was Yuki Tachibana from Japan. Another Japanese Beni Tukishima won the award of best in Talent. Matricia Mae Centino from Guam was chosen as Miss Perfect Skin By Asoke Skin Hospital. And finally, voted by fans online as Miss Ripley's Popular Vote award was given to Stefania Cruz from the Philippines.

Ron Teh wins Mister Singapore International 2012

23 year old Mr. Woodlands, Ron Teh won the title of Mister Singapore International 2012 held at the Zirca in Clarke Quay.

Ron was doing modeling since his teen years and have been a competitive basketball player for the past 10 years.

AS the new titleholder, Teh will serve as the spokesman for Action for AIDS, the organisation's official cause, as well as to increase awareness of a healthy lifestyle.

Mr Punggol, Nick Teo emerged as the 1st-up. 2nd run-up position went to Mr. Bukit Timah, Ice Asher Chew. The 3rd run-up was Mr. Serangoon, Gregory Lai. And the 3rd run-up was Mr. Sembawang, Ozalif Omar.

Ron will be the official representative of Singapore in Mister International 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand on November 24.

Meet Belgium's entry in Miss Global Teen 2012

19 year old Amina Serouk from Brussels was appointed to be the official representative of Belgium in Miss Global Teen 2012 pageant to take place on November 24 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Amina is currently a student at the Topsport College. She speaks four different languages and has been successfully modeling for quite a while. Both of her parents are from Morocco. Serouk's ambition is to work with something which will allow her to visit as many different countries as possible.

Representative of Senegal in Miss Global Teen 2012

For the very first time, Senegal will compete in Miss Global Teen with their official representative, the stunning Hawa Sanou.

19 year old Hawa, standing 1.78m tall currently lives in Belgium, but always done charitable work back in her native country. Her main interests are fashion modeling and foreign languages.

Sanou will compete against other teenagers around the world for the title of Miss Global Teen 2012 to take place on November 24 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Do Hoang Anh is Miss Earth Vietnam 2012

2nd run-up in Miss Vietnam 2012 last August, Do Hoang Anh was selected to be the official representative of Vietnam in Miss Earth 2012 to be held on November 24 in Versailles Palace, Alabang in Muntinlupa City Metro Manila, Philippines.

Do Hoang was selected by UNICORP, license holders for Miss Earth in Vietnam, through autorization of the Ministry of Culture.

18 year old Anh and stands 176cm tall. She will compete against more than 80 international beauties vying for the coveted crown.

Cassandra Scott is Miss Global Teen Bahamas 2012

15 year old Cassandra Scott Nassau was appointed as the new Miss Global Teen Bahamas 2012.

Cassandra or "Cassie" is currently a student and mode. She speaks Swedish and Japanese, in addition to English. She enjoys volleyball and arts in general, and has done a lot of charity work in the Bahamas.

Scott will be the official representative of her country in Miss Global Teen 2012 pageant to take place on November 24 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Miss Global Teen Venezuela 2012: Dayana Baradat

A special casting was done to choose a Venezuelan delegate for Miss Global Teen 2012 pageant to be held on November 24.

The lucky girl chosen was Dayana Baradat Cuidad Guyana. She will now get ready and travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina and try to win the international crown.

Chantel Martinez - Miss Global Teen Dominican Republic

19 year old Chantel Martinez was appointed as the new Miss Global Teen Dominican Republic 2012 title.

Chantel stands 1.74m tall and was also one of the semi-finalists in the recently concluded Miss Supranational 2012 pageant in Poland. She will now represent the country again in Miss Global Teen 2012 contest in Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 24.

Frankie Cena is Mister World Canada 2012

Frankie Cena was crowned as the new Mister World Canada 2012 last October 18 at the Pink Elephant Thai restaurant on Alberni Street in Vancouver. Passing on his title was the outgoing titleholder, Ron Wear.

The reigning Miss World Canada 2012, Tara Teng was also present at the event which was hosted by CEO of Emerton Records and Pop recording artist Marika Siewert alongside with Desmond Chen and the amazing staff at Pink Elephant Thai.

Frankie will represent the country in Mister World 2012 pageant to take place on November 24 in Kent, England.

Mister Venezuela World 2012 - Jesus Zambrano

22 year old Jesus Zambrano from Tachira was appointed and presented to the press by Osmel Sousa as Mister Venezuela 2012.

Jesus will represent Venezuela in Mister World 2012 to be held in Kent, England on November 24.

Zambrano has lived and worked as a model in Colombia, Mexico, and USA.

Jason Chee won Manhunt Singapore 2012

20 handsome hunks competed for the 24th Manhunt Singapore title held last September 8 at the Avalon at Marina Bay Sands.

Emerging as the incumbent Manhunt representing Singapore this year was Jason Chee who also won other subsidiary awards. The 25 year old is 1.8m tall and weighs 80kg. Chee is a model, personal trainer and a recent gym business entrepreneur. He is not new to pageantry in Singapore and his titles include Singapore Calendar Guys 2010 Winner and Mr. Physique, Manhunt 2009, Mr Physique, Cleo Bachelor 2011, Bachelor with the hardest bod, Best Model of the World Singapore winner and Best Model of the World Best in Asia.

Miss Global Teen Argentina 2012 - Carmen Cuneo Yanzon

16 year old Carmen Cuneo Yanzon from Buenos Aires was appointed as the Miss Global Teen Argentina 2012 title.

Carmen is currently a student and a model standing 1.80m tall. She will serve as this year's host delegate for the upcoming Miss Global Teen 2012 pageant on November 24 in her country.

Yanzon has been preparing for her challenge and is excited to welcome other 24 teenagers from around the world in her beautiful country: “I am sure they will love Buenos Aires and its many surprises. I will make sure all the girls have a ball in Argentina!”.

Ana Luisa Konig is Miss Universo Chile 2012

Miss Universo Chile 2012 contest took place last October 27 at the Enjoy Casino and Resort in Santiago. 22 year old Ana Luisa Konig from Santiago eventually took home the title.

Standing 1.78m tall, Ana Luisa works as a model. She will now represent Chile at the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 pageant on December 19 at the PH Live, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
