INTERVIEW:

What environmental project will you create to promote the protection of Mother Earth and why?
Malta, being an island surrounded by sea, is becoming highly polluted with oil which will collect on our shores and beaches. My main aim would be beach cleaning campaigns

What makes you proud of your country and what can you promote about it?
Malta is in the heart of the Mediterranean visited by several tourists every year. It is very small yet has a lot to offer. I am proud of the fact that we have our own language, our own culture together with a long history dating a number of years. Malta is full of historical sites, lovely beaches, amazing weather, friendly people and entertaining areas for all walks of life.

Describe your childhood/growing years:
I used to go to school, go to dancing lessons and play with my neighbor everyday. My parents started to separate at that time and I used to take care of my younger brother as well. It was a sad time but I stayed strong and pushed myself further in dance and drama.

What is your most memorable moment?
I’ve been participating for three consecutive years in Miss Earth Malta, always one of the top five. This year I was 2nd runner up and was given the opportunity to fulfill my dream-representing my country in Miss Earth.

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose it?
Malta, being an island surrounded by sea, is becoming highly polluted with oil which will collect on our shores and beaches, my main aim would be beach cleaning campaigns.

What tip can you share to promote sustainable energy for all?
To follow the three famous words. Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle not only in theory but also in practice.
