INTERVIEW:

What environmental project will you create to promote the protection of Mother Earth and why?
I will co-operate with ecoFoundations R'energy For Life to visit a lot of schools in Belgium to promote Green Energy and inform our younger generation everything about it because I think that children are our future and they can make difference to make our Earth a better place for everyone.

What makes you proud of your country and what can you promote about it?
I am very proud of my country because it has many things that are famous worldwide. Belgium has got the most delicious chocolates in the world, best beer and best Belgian fries. On the other side Belgium is the Diamond Center of the world. Only in Belgium all diamonds get polished, checked and sent to other countries. Belgium is also called "Heart of Europe" because it plays a very important role for the EU since all the institutions are located here.

Describe your childhood/growing years:
I had a great youth between age 8 and 13. I was the best at school and all my teachers just loved me. They used to call me "A wonder Child". I lived in harmony with my sisters and brothers. Those are unforgettable days. My only biggest sorrow was that I didn't have my father with us. He died when I was 2 years old.

What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
Take every opportunity in life. And do everything possible to achieve your goals and never give up no matter what difficulties you might face.

What is your most memorable moment?
When I won the national pageant in Belgium. This was very special because I was the first foreign girl in 30 years who managed to make a big impression on 10 judges and to win 10 unanimous votes.

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose it?
I will try to promote "Green Energy" to all schools so they may have the right knowledge about it. I would try to convince them to choose sustainable energy. I think schools are important because children are our future.

What tip can you share to promote sustainable energy for all?
I wish that all people would be more aware about green energy and also stop the spoilage and think about our world, our earth.
