Notes: Former Miss South Carolina 2005 and placed top 10 at Miss America 2006
Biography: Shannon is from Gilbert, South Carolina and is a recent graduate of Gilbert High School. While in High School, she enjoyed being a part of Chorus, Drama, Broadcasting & English Honors' Classes. In her spare time, Shannon likes to be with her friends and also enjoys cooking, modeling, performing in Drama Productions and volunteering. Recently, she has modeled in runway shows for Supermodels Unlimited magazine in LA, New York City and Charlotte. She appeared in the "2011 Cinderella's Closet" Prom Magazine and has also modeled for Bebe.
Since being crowned, Ford has been all over the state making appearances and volunteering for several local and state charitable organizations as well as Children's Hospitals. She plans to attend the University of South Carolina and major in Broadcasting.
