Thailand wins Miss International Beauty 2009 / Miss GBQ 2009
Vasana Wongbuntree, Miss Thailand was crowned Miss Global Beauty Queen 2009 (GBQ) also known as Miss International Beauty 2009 (MIB), in Daqing, China on August 1.
The 1st runner-up was Botova Anna, Miss Russia, followed by Miss Taiwan, Chen Ni-Ya 2nd runner-up. Miss Italy, Catherina Calicchia Eliana was the 3rd runner-up. And Miss Brazil, Mariana Bathke is the 4th runner-up.
Top 15 semi-finalists were the candidates from Canada, Korea, Australia, Turkmenistan, Venezuela, Poland, Puerto Rico, China.
The new Miss Global Beauty Queen 2009 (GBQ) / Miss International Beauty 2009 (MIB), Vasana Wongbuntree was the 1st run-up in Miss Tourism Queen 2007 and a semi-finalist in Miss International 2006.
