Miss Venezuela wins Best in Evening Gown at Miss Tourism Queen International 2009
Jessica Ibarra, Miss Venezuela won the Best in Evening Gown Award at Miss Tourism Queen International 2009 Beauty Pageant. She was presented with crown and sash.
It was a night of elegance and glamour, in which the 97 candidates paraded with their evening gowns on a impressive 30-m-long runway.
Miss Venezuela, Jessica Ibarra's victory came a few hours after another Venezuelan was crowned Miss Universe 2009, Stefania Fernandez in the Bahamas, and just like it happened there, it was a back-to-back victory for Venezuela in China as well: in 2008 Miss Venezuela also won the ‘Best in Gown’ competition in Miss Tourism Queen International 2008.
The second place best in evening gown was Miss China, Shen Yu Jie and Miss Philippines, Marie Razel Eguia came in third place.
