Miss Earth 2009 Welcome Dinner
The Miss Earth 2009 Welcome Dinner was the first activity of the candidates since they've arrived in the Philippines.
After the delegates finished their registrations/checking in at Discovery Suites, later in the evening the contestants were treated to a Welcome and Briefing Party at the Carousel Garden in Mandaluyong City. A sumptous buffet was served to all the candidates and guests, with the formal introduction of newest member of Carousel Productions (replacement for the late Ms. Jojie Felix Velarde), Miss Ping Valencia, a former Karilagan model way back in the 70’s. She will act as the Head Chaperone of this year’s edition of Miss Earth. Ramon Monzon, Carousél’s President then gave his welcome remarks to all the delegates.
