Mawuse Appea (Ghana) - Miss World 2009 Candidate
Miss Ghana, Mawuse "Mimi" Appea is one of the 112 contestants of Miss World 2009 Beauty Pageant to be held on December 12 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Mawuse has a degree in psychology and theatre arts. She is working as an executive director at a charity for hepatitis sufferers. Hobbies include dancing, swimming and writing poetry. Mawuse enjoys classical music and her favourite food is Indian and Chinese. Her personal motto is “Open your arms to change but don’t let go of your values”.
