Miss Iceland, Guðrún Dögg Rúnarsdóttir is one of the 112 contestants of Miss World 2009 Beauty Pageant to be held on December 12 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Guðrún has graduated from high school and works as a make up artist. Her ambition is to go to university and study fashion design. She enjoys making clothes and accessories using her knitting and sewing skills. Hobbies include figure-skating, horse riding and playing the violin. Her favourite foods are lobster and Icelandic meat soup. Her motto is “Those who dare greatly force their way into destiny”.
