Miss Costa Rica, Angie Alfaro is one of the 112 contestants of Miss World 2009 Beauty Pageant to be held on December 12 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Angie is from Alajuela, Costa Rica. She is in her first year of university studying foreign trade and customs. Hobbies include reading, dancing and listening to pop music. Her favourite food is Italian and she has a pet dog named Dalila.
Alfaro was crowned Miss World Costa Rica 2009 on August 4 at Radisson Europa Hotel in San Jose. She was also one of the top 12 Semi-Finalists at Miss Teenager Universe 2009 contest held in El Salvador on October 15.
