New Miss Nicaragua 2009 is Indiana Sanchez
A Nursing Student from Managua, the 21 years old Indiana Sanchez was crowned as the new Miss Nicaragua 2009 in a beauty pageant televised live from the Ruben Dario National Theatre last March 7.
Sanchez was recieve the award of Miss Photogenic and stands 1.78m tall and will be the representative of her country in the Miss Universe 2009 Contest in the islands of the Bahamas later this year. She will also compete in other international pageants.
The 1st run-up was Silma Ulloa who competed in the 2007 Reina Hispanoamericana while the 2nd run-up was Maritza Rivas.
