Official Contestants of Miss World Canada 2009 (Batch 2)

Miss World Canada 2009 will be held on March 21 at St. Lawrence Centre for The Arts - Jane Mallett Theatre in Toronto. Leah Ryerse, Miss World Canada 2008 will crown her successor at the event's coronation night. The winner will be sent to Miss World 2009 Pageant this coming December to be held at Johannesburg, South Africa.

Sandra Vinces was crowned Miss Ecuador 2009

An 18-year old student and model from Portoviejo (Manabi), Sandra Vinces was named Miss Ecuador 2009 at a Beauty Pageant televised live from Mantas. Sandra is 1.78m tall and will compete and represent her country at the Miss Universe 2009 Contest on August 30 to be held in the beautiful islands of the Bahamas.

Chosen as Miss Ecuador Mundo (World) was the 21-year old Gabriela Ulloa from Esmeraldas. She stands 1.80m tall and a student of journalism. Gabriela will be competing at Miss World 2009 later this December to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Miss Ecuador Internacional (International) title was given to Isabella Chiriboga. She is a 20-year old student of Tourism Administration and stands 1.73 m tall. Isabella will represent her country at the Miss International 2009 pageant in Japan and Macau this coming November.

Diana Sanchez and Yuliana Delgado ended as 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively where 22 contestants competed in the annual event organized by Gamavision.

Representative of Estonia at Miss Universe 2009

Diana Arno was chosen to compete representing Estonia at the Miss Universe 2009 Beauty Pageant on August 30 at the beautiful islands of the Bahamas. Diana is 25 years of age and stands 1.81 m. tall.

The 1st runner-up was Sille Liisi, while Julia Lindvall was chosen as the 2nd runner-up.

Mauricio Mayorga wins Mister Manhunt Costa Rica 2009

Mauricio Mayorga, Mister Manhunt Costa Rica 2009, who was chosen to represent his home country in the Mister Manhunt International 2009 contest, which might be celebrated around April or May this year.

The 17 year old had to beat out other 7 finalists to place himself on top and earn the right to represent his country in this prestigious contest. Nevertheless, it is told that the biggest and hardest obstacle he had to beat were the social prejudices held among his parents, especially his mother who was in total discontent with his participation in this contest.

"The first person I told I wanted to compete in this contest was my mother, but her reaction was quite strange. Besides the fact she told me I should wait until I was older", Mauricio says.

Ian Alexander is Mister Manhunt Bosnia 2009

The 23 year old Ian Alexander won the title of Mister Manhunt Bosnia 2009 and will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina in this year's edition of Manhunt International 2009. Ian stands tall at 188cm.

Belgium's representative to Manhunt International 2009

Vertessen Jochen, 19 years old and stands 192cm. tall is Belgium's representative to this years Manhunt International 2009. He also won the title of Mister World Mundial 2008 and Mister Belgium Personality 2008.
