Mutya Johanna Datul | Bb. Pilipinas 2013 Bio
The pride of Santa Maria, Isabela, 20 year old Mutya Johanna Datul is fond of listening to music and singing. She describes herself as a "simple province girl who has high dreams in life". As a young girl in Isabela, she helps catch bettle in the fields, which they make into a delicacy. She says Bb. Pilipinas is her ultimate dream. She has watched the pageant since she was a little girl, and has since wanted to be one of the queens.
Standing 5'8" tall, Mutya idolize is Venus Raj (Miss Universe 2010 4th run-up). "Through the story of her life, I can see myself. Though life is difficult, yet she pursued. I can see through her that it's really not impossible to achieve your dreams in life” she says.
Datul is part of the top 10 semi-finalists in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 pageant. This year, she is now one of the 50 line of candidates competing for the title of Binibining Pilipinas 2013 which celebrates it's 50 glorious years to be held on April 14 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines.
