Juceila Bueno (Rio Grande do Sul) wins Miss Mundo Brasil 2011
22 year old Miss Rio Grande do Sul, Juceila Bueno was declared as the new Miss World Brazil 2011 or locally known as Miss Mundo Brasil 2011 during a beauty pageant held on August 13 at the Hotel do Frade in Angra dos Reis. She was crowned by Kamilla Salgado, Miss World Brazil 2010 assisted by Mister Brazil 2011, Lucas Malvacini.
Juceila Bueno stands 1.80m tall and works as a television presenter. She will represent Brazil in Miss World 2011 beauty contest on November 6 in London, UK.
The 1st run-up was Miss Sergipe, Mariane Silvestre. She will represent Brazil in Miss Supranational 2011.
2nd run-up was Miss Sao Paulo, Ana Cecilia Cunha, who will compete in Miss Global Beauty 2011 competition in Korea.
Santa Catarina, Mariana Bathke and Rio Grande do Norte, Kessia Thaiene Cortez completed the Top 5 finalists.
Completing the top 10 semi-finalists were: Juliana Kessia Rocha (Minas Gerais), Vanessa Koetz (Ilha da Pintada), Aline Reis (Marajo), Rhaissa Saviero (Espirito Santo), Camila Serakides (Tocantins) and Kellin Schmidt (Distrito Federal).
The top 18 Quarter Finalists were: Mariana Albuquerque (Mato Grosso), Maria Daniella Borcato (Alagoas), Stephanie Figueiredo Machado (Rio de Janeiro), Paula Helwanger (Ilha dos Marinheiros), Kahuany Tufaile (Piaui), Luz Vasconcellos (Pernambuco) and Paloma Veja (Bahia).
Miss Pernambuco, Luz Vasconcellos won a special fast track competition of the Miss Popularity award after winning an internet voting sponsored by UOL.
