Larisa Popa was crowned Miss Universe Romania 2011

24 year old Larisa Popa was crowned as the new Miss Universe Romania 2011 during a beauty contest held on July 29 at the Residence Domenii Plaza Hotel in Bucharest. She was crowned by Oana Paveluc, Miss Universe Romania 2010.

Alexandra Camelia Hadade was the 1st run-up, Beatrix-Julia Hack was the 2nd run-up and Emanuela-Elena Radu was the 3rd run-up.

Larisa Popa will represent Romania in Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
