Miss Universe Japan 2011 is Maria Kamiyama 神山 まりあ（かみやま まりあ）
24 year old Kamiyama Maria, 神山 まりあ（かみやま まりあ） from Osaka was crowned as the new Miss Universe Japan 2011 during a beauty contest held on June 17 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall. She was crowned by Miss Universe Japan 2010, Maiko Itai.
Maria Kamiyama stands 1.68m tall and works as a sales clerk. She will represent Japan at the Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The 1st run-up was Hibiki Nozu, 野津 響（のず ひびき） from Okinawa. And the 2nd run-up was Michiko Tanaka from Shizuoka.
Tomomi Takada, 高田 知美（たかだ ともみ) and Kita Naomi, 木田 直美（きだ なおみ） completed the top 5 finalists.
