Chelsae Durocher wins Miss Universe Canada 2011
20 year old Chelsae Durocher from Tecumseh was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2011 during a beauty contest held on June 25 at the Jane Mallet Theatre of the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts in Toronto. She was crowned by Miss Universe Canada 2010, Elena Semikina.
Elishia Sahota and Brooke Boyle was the 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively. Emily Kiss and Krystal Bedard completed the Top 5 finalists.
Top 12 Semi-finalists were: Ivanna Tarnowecky, Kim Savard, Linsay Willier, Pablita Thomas, Celine LaFlamme, Victoria Volkova and Maxime Mastrojoseph.
Standing 1.75m tall, Chelsae Durocher was former Miss Global Teen Canada 2010 and 2nd run-up and named as Teen Queen of the Americas at the Miss Global Teen 2010 contest.
Chelsae Durocher will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
