BIO:
I never thought of becoming one of the contestants of Miss Earth Dominican Republic, but I actually won the crown. It was the most unusual thing I have ever done.
Describe your childhood when you were growing up from 8 to 13 years old.
My childhood was great. I had so many friends. We loved to play, read comics, seated in front of the television for hours and be just like a family. I think I was smart in my school years from up to now. I loved studying. The literature tales were my favorite books to read. My family usually held big parties for me on my birthdays and so with Christmas days and I loved our family reunions. In general, I have wonderful memories about my childhood and growing years.
What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?
To Listen! I remember every time when my mom said or claim something not right to me, I was so upset. Now I know it was for a reason. Now, I understand many things that happened because she wanted the best of the best for me. She told me how to be more open about myself, to express myself, to love me more and love my environmental. Today, I still practice all of these lessons and maybe I don't do the best things always but I know that I have all these good deeds in my mind and I am working hard to give more and more to my family, my friends, life and environment.
What is your most memorable moment?
A long time ago, my mom surprised me with something really special. It was a gift which I will always remember. It was my little Ponky, my lovely dog and a big part of my life. Since the moment I saw him in front of me, my life changed. I love that moment. One day Ponky got sick and died and it was the most sad moment of my life oh, for so many reasons. The dog changed my life. I love all animals and I , am working hard to preserve all the species in the world. I want to make the world a beautiful place to live together for all species. For now, I don't have another "Ponky" but I love all animals, thanks to my beautiful experience. "Ponky" gave to me the power of love and to make me a stronger person. Please always take care and love all animals.
What is your environmental advocacy?
My environmental advocacy is to teach the people and the principles of change that is happening to our environment. I want to contribute options and solutions of aid to our environmental problem. To make people aware of the absolute urgency to help and save our habitat. We should not destroy , we should recycle and avoid the propagation of the contamination of our environment.
