BIO:
My life ambition is to be one of the most recognized psychologists of Colombia dedicated to helping kids with different types of problems, and travel around the world so I can meet new cultures, life styles and learn about life to help people with my own knowledge.

Describe your childhood when you were growing up from 8 to 13 years old.

When I was eight years old, I lived in Cali, Colombia with my parents, in a place that was right next to an entertainment center where we could play with my friends every day after arriving home from school I lived there for three years and then went to live south of the city to a bigger place where I had a beautiful time, I could skate and ride bikes. My parents were also happy because there were also activities and events for the parents. I liked to read stories and I used to get together with my other friends and read them the stories. I was very friendly and cheerful. I felt very sociable with my friends because friendship was essential for me. I also liked to share with my family on trips to other cities and to celebrate important dates with them.

What lessons did you learn from your childhood/growing years?

I learned many things in my childhood. Things like to be an honest and faithful person that helped me to build a better personality. I liked leading groups to do activities like trips to museums and zoos so that we children would different and we could learn different things everyday. Solidarity was also a feature that I stressed and I still stand as a person who helps others. That is one of the most important lesson I learned from my childhood days. I learned from my mom because she is an exceptional person and by her example, I try to follow the same steps she took. I also learned to take my life with love and organization, to go practice and solve my problems with discipline and compliance with the regulations of the home and environment that surround me.

What is your most memorable moment?

My most memorable moment was attending college. During first day of classes, I realized I was doing what I wanted to do, surrounded by people who had the same personal aspirations.

What is your environmental advocacy?

My environmental advocacy is being aware that there are problems and also that we have to help and try to decrease further devastation. I look after the environment by not throwing garbage in the streets , learning to recycle and everyday, I try to get people around me to do the same, promoting the culture of my country do the same and make the habit of recycling at home a priority or first ranking. For example: one container or bin for the papers, another one for the biodegradable and the other container for glass. Finally to spread the message in all universities with advertising. We need to make people aware of what is happening to us and that global warming can be catastrophic if we do not do something about it now. As Miss Earth, I started to visit schools in my community to teach kids to recycle and to love the planet , the city and the neighborhood.

In Colombia I am very worried about the psychological effect of the kids due to the violence, because they move form the rural areas to the city where they have to experience a traumatic change of environment that will affect their development.
