Miss Guam Universe 2009 Contestants

The Official Contestants of Miss Guam Universe will have two rounds of preliminary competition prior to the Grand Finals according to Ray Gibson and Lisa Flores, the pageant committee. The swimsuit round to be held on May 5th and the final round on May 9th. The reigning queen Siera Robertson, Miss Universe Guam 2008 will crown her successor at the event. The winner will be competing representing Guam at the Miss Universe 2009 Beauty Pageant to be held at the beautiful Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas on August 23. While the 1st run-up will go to Manila, Philippines for the Miss Earth 2009 Contest.

Miss Universe Guam 2009 is Racine Manley

The new Mister Manhunt Bulgaria is Stoian Bankov

25 year old model Stoian Bankov was chosen as the new Mister Manhunt Bulgaria 2009 and he will compete and represent his country at the Manhunt International 2009 to be held in South Korea. Stoian stands 1.80m tall.

Chosen as the 1st run-up was Adrian Todorinov, 18 years of age and stands tall at 1.87m. While Viktor Angelov, 21 years old and stands 1.80m tall was declared as the 2nd run-up.

Miss Thailand Universe 2009 is Chutima Durongdej

23 year old Chutima Durongdej was the new Miss Thailand Universe 2009 and will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2009 Beauty Pageant on August 23 in Nassau, Bahamas. Chutima stands 176cm tall and comes from London/England.

Rujinand Pansritum, 19 year old on the other hand finished as first runner-up and will represent Thailand at Miss Earth 2009. Completing the court are runners-up were Ratakorn Sathirabhut, Kedmolee Rojanapradit,and Chonthicha Subpaiboonlerd.

Denisa Mendrejova is the new Miss Universe Slovakia 2009

A 23 year old student of Economics, Denisa Mendrejova (center) was crowned as the new Miss Universe Slovakia (Slovak Republic) 2009 in a beauty pageant held at Bratislava last March 29.

Denisa is also a model and stands 1.75m tall. She will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2009 Contest to be held on August 23 at Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas.

Competing at the Miss Earth 2009 to be held in Manila, Philippines is the 1st run-up, Lea Sindlerova (left). The 2nd runner-up was Marcela Sevcikova (right).

Anna Hammel was crowned Miss Austria 2009

Anna Hammel, a 21 year old student from Gmunden won the title of Miss Austria 2009 in a beauty pageant held at the American Chance Casino in Kleinhaugsdorf last Saturday, March 28. She stands 1.70m tall and will be competing representing her country at the Miss World 2009 Contest at Johanneburg, South Africa on December.

18 year old Konstanze Heis was named as the 1st run-up while Dejana Varadin, 22 year old was declared as the 2nd run-up.



Miss Austria 2007 and 2008, Christine Reiler and Marina Schneider were part of the judging panel.

Froken Norge (Miss Norway) 2009 Winners

The 17 year old student from Skien, Sara Skjoldnes (left) was chosen by the audience as the new Froken Norge (Miss Norway) World 2009. Sara stands 170cm tall. She will be competing at the Miss World 2009 Contest to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa later this December.

Chosen by the judges is the new Froken Norge (Miss Norway) Universe 2009 was Eli Landa (right) of Stavanger. She is 24 years of age and stands tall at 1.76cm. She will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2009 Pageant on August 23 to be held in the beautiful island of Nassau, Bahamas.

The Froken Norge (Miss Norway) 2009 Pageant was held in Oslo last March 28.

Miss Costa Rica Universe 2009 was Jessica Umana

A student of Business Administration from Moravia, the 21 year old Jessica Umana won the Miss Costa Rica 2009 Contest at an event held last Friday at the Museo de los Ninos theater in San Jose and was telecast live through Teletica, organizers of the pageant.

Jessica stands 1.75m tall and was one of the early favorites for the crown. This was her 2nd time to join as she was an official candidate last year, but withdrew before the finals took place. She decided to join again, and winning the title over 8 other lovely contestants. She will now be competing at the Miss Universe 2009 Beauty Pageant on August 23 at Nassau, Bahamas.

Nancy Montero from Heredia was the 1st run-up while Natalia Alvarez from Desamparados was declared as the 2nd run-up.
