Elza Marku is Miss Kosova 2009
Elza Marku was crowned Miss Earth Kosovo / Kosova 2009. She will represent her country at the Miss Earth 2009 Pageant in Boracay, Philippines.
A professional model, Elza Marku is the reigning Top Model of Kosovo 2009. She competed in the Top Model of the World 2009 on April 4, 2009 in Germany, where she placed as a semifinalist.
The responsibility is enormous for winner of Miss Kosova in promoting environmental awareness in Kosovo. The Republic of Kosovo is passing through an imperative phase of development in a post conflict period, and similar to the post conflict countries in the region, environment was not considered in the beginning to be one of the priorities. It is essential for her country to augment public awareness about the fact that sustainable development, which requires contribution of all participants in order to provide beneficent for entire Kosovo society that will eventually bring better beneficent for them.
