Miss New Zealand 2009 is Katie Taylor
Last April 25, Katie Taylor won the title of Miss New Zealand 2009 Beauty Pageant. She will be the representative of New Zealand at the Miss Universe 2009 Contest on August 23 to be held in Nassau, Bahamas.
Katie is 22 years old and stands 5'9" tall. She graduated from University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Property. Katie now works as a construction project manager. Her interests include flying, reading, cooking and travel. Katie's ambition is to present a TV series on the importance of sustainable "green" housing and buildings.
Placed as the 1st run-up was Priyani Puketapu while Anthea Stembridge finished as 2nd run-up.
