Sofia Rudieva wins Miss Russia 2009

Miss Russia 2009 Pageant was held last night of March 7th where the 18 years old Sofia Rudieva from St. Petersburg won the title. Crowning her is the last year's Miss Russia 2008, Ksenia Sukhinova which is also the reigning Miss World 2008 together with the current Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela. Sofia will be competing representing Russia at the Miss Universe and Miss World 2009 Contests.

Almost reaching the title are Svetlana Stepankovskaya, and Ksenia Shipilova. who where the 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.
