Miss Brasil 2012 is Gabriela Markus (Rio Grande do Sul)

23 year old Gabriela Markus representing Rio Grande do Sul was crowned as the new Miss Brasil 2012 also referred as Miss Universe Brazil during a glamorous contest held last September 29 at the Events Center of Ceara in Fortaleza.

Standing 1.80m tall, Gabriela from Teutonia city will represent Brazil in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 pageant to be held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on December 19.

Kelly Fonseca (Rio Grande do Norte) placed as the 1st run-up. While Thiessa Sickert (Minas Gerais) finished as the 2nd run-up.

Tamiris Rodrigues (Distrito Federal) and Francine Pantaleao (Sao Paulo) round up the top 5 finalists.

Milena Lemos Ferrer (Ceara) and Manoella Deschamps (Santa Catarina) completed the top 7 semi-finalists.

Completing the top 10 were Vivian Amorim (Amazon), Fernanda Pereira (Espirito Santo) and Rayanne Morais (Rio de Janeiro).

Rayanne Morais (Rio de Janeiro) received the Miss Nutrisse award. The Miss Popular was won by Francine Pantaleao (Sao Paulo). And the Best in Costume award was given to Vivian Amorim (Amazon).

Miss Global Teen Denmark 2012

18 year old Mitzi Friis-Hanse was designated and received the title of Miss Global Teen Denmark 2012.

Mitzi stands 1.80m tall and will represent the country in Miss Global Teen 2012 pageant on November 24 in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

The Miss Global Teen competition was the most prestigious international beauty contest for teenagers around the world. It's official slogan is "Beauty and Youth with the right Attitude".

Top 10 | Miss Trinidad & Tobago Universe 2012

From a total of 112 gorgeous women participated in the initial casting, only 37 beauties were accepted for the second screening. It was a nerve wracking experience for the ladies as the judges deliberated and narrowed down the selection to 21.

Each of the lucky 21 had a four minute interview with the panel of judges before the group was cut down to 12, after that the judges discussed for 45 minutes before deciding on the final 10 women who would be offered a position in the Miss Trinidad and Tobago pageant.

After three weeks of intense training and preparation we will separate the contestants from the contenders. From these 10 women only one will emerge to represent the Caribbean country at the 2012 Miss Universe pageant.

Ruqayyah Boyer wins Miss Guyana Universe 2012

21 year old Ruqayyah Boyer won the title of Miss Guyana Universe 2012 during the conclusion of a beauty pageant which took place on September 15 at the Princess Hotel and Casino in Georgetown. She was crowned by last year's winner Kara Lord together with the reigning Miss Universe 2011, Leila Lopes who attended the event as a special guest.

Niketa Barker finished as 1st run-up, while Sadhna Yunus ended in 2nd run-up position.

Ruqayyah is currently a 3rd year student taking up a Bachelor’s in International Relations at the University of Guyana & Conflict Resolution at the American university of Peace Studies. She was born in the Dutch realm of Suriname to Guyanese decent and have lived few years in Suriname, Canada and Guyana.

As the new Guyanese titleholder, Boyer will be the official representative of the country in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 competition on December.

Belarus wins Miss Supranational 2012 title!

The 4th Miss Supranational contest was held last September 14, 2012 in Warsaw, Poland where Monika Lewczuk from Poland, last year's winner handed her crown to her successor.

The stunning Miss Belarus, Ekaterina Buraya eventually won the coveted title beat out other 52 international beauties.

Finished as the 1st run-up was Thailand's Nanthawan Wannachutha. She was also 2nd run-up in the 2010 Miss World Supermodel pageant.

2nd run-up position was given to Michaela Dihlova from the Czech Republic. She competed before in Miss Global Beauty Queen 2011 and also Top 5 in Miss Model of the World 2011.

Elaine Kay Moll of the Philippines ended as 3rd run-up, while the delegate from Ecuador Sulay Castillo finished as 4th run-up.

Miss All Nations 2012 is Daria Patkova (Belarus)

The annual Miss All Nations 2012 contest took place last September 9 at the Regalia Resort & Spa, Nanjing Qinhuai River in Nanjing, China. The beautiful Daria Patkova from Belarus was announced as the new winner during the event. She is 20 years old and stands 177cm tall.

Close to the title was the 1st run-up, Sanja Urosevic from Serbia. The 2nd run-up position went Beijing China's Fay Li.

Aurore Kayibanda Umutesi is Miss Rwanda 2012

20 year old Aurore Kayibanda Umutesi from Nyanza was crowned as the new Miss Rwanda 2012 during a beauty contest held at the Gikondo Expo Grounds in Kigali last September 1.

Finished as the 1st run-up was Natacha Uwamahoro, while Ariane Murerwa ended as the 2dn run-up position.

For the first time in history, Rwanda will send a representative to compete in the next edition of the Miss World pageant. Aurore will travel to Jakarta, Indonesia on July 2013 to enter the said competition.

A Rwandan delegate to Miss World would serve as an eye opener show­ing that this sovereign state in central and eastern African country has moved on and continue to progress and improve the country’s image internationally.

So far, only Agbani Darego from Nigeria has won the Miss World crown. The winning of Leila Lopes of Angola as Miss Universe 2011 also made a huge impact why more and more African countries now participating in an international beauty pageants.

As for Umutesi, she will have the big responsibility to be a good example and role model specially African girls as she competes at Miss World 2013. Goodluck!

Lynn Tan was crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2012

24 year old Lynn Tan won the title of the new Miss Universe Singapore 2012 during the conclusion of a pageant held last September 9 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore. She was awarded and crowned by Valerie Lim, last year's winner.

Lynn stands 171cm tall and currently works as a Mergers and Acquisitions Associate. She was also named the winner of Miss Body Beautiful and Miss Sensational Smile awards during the event.

Tan will be the official representative of the country at the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 competition later this December.

Finished as 1st run-up was Nowreen Khan and 2nd run-up place went to Louissa Thomas.

The evening gowns were proudly sponsored by Irene's Creations.

Miss Togo 2012 - Camih Epiphanie Gantin

A 3rd year student of Economics & International Finance, Camih Epiphanie Gantin won the title of Miss Togo 2012 during a beauty pageant celebrating it's 18th edition which was held last September 1 in Lome. She was crowned by Monique Quizi Handlos, Miss Togo 2011.

20 year old Camih defeated other 19 beauties who participated. A confirmation will soon be made by her national director if she will be the 1st representative of Togo in Miss Universe 2012 to be held on December 11 in the Dominican Republic.

Jennifer Andrade wins Miss Universe Honduras 2012

24 year old Jennifer Andrade won the coveted title of Miss Universo Honduras 2012 which was held at the Centro Social Hondureno Arabe in San Pedro Sula last August 31.

Jennifer from Tegucigalpa stands 1.65m tall and will represent Honduras in Miss Universe 2012 this coming December.

Crowned as Miss Earth Honduras was Odilly Alvarenga. She will travel to Bali, Indonesia to enter the Miss Earth 2012 contest on October.

Diana Xu wins Miss Universe China 2012

The Miss Universe China 2012 pageant was held last September 1 at the Shanghai Grand Theatre in Shanghai. The stunning Diana Xu won the title and was crowned by last year's winner Luo Zilin.

Diana stands 5'11" tall and it's her 2nd time joining the national contest, first was in 2010 where she placed as the 2nd run-up. She will now prepare to represent her country in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 competition on December.

Amelia Xu finished as 1st run-up while Jessica Zhang was the 2nd run-up.

Miss Universe Italy 2012 - Grazia Maria Pinto

24 year old Grazia Maria Pinto won the title of Miss Universe Italy 2012 during a beauty pageant took place last August 31 at the Rainbow Magicland in Rome.

As the new winner, Pinto will receive her prize package including a week-long stay in Panama from October 15 to the 22, to attend the prestigious Katty Pulido International Academy, where she will get intensive training in all areas of competition to aid her preparation for her international competitions.

Standing tall at 1.76m, Grazia Maria currently works as a professional model. She will represent her country in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 competition to be scheduled this December.

Alyssa Cruz Aguero - Miss Universe Guam 2012

The Miss Universe Guam 2012 pageant took place on August 31 at the Hyatt Regency Guam in Tumon. The stunning 24 year old Alyssa Cruz Aguero won the prestigious title competing against 9 other beauties who participated for the search.

Alyssa stands 1.8m tall and will enter the Miss Universe 2012 competition on August 11 in the Dominican Republic.

18 year old Chanel Cruz Jarrett was awarded Miss International Guam title and will compete in Miss International 2012 in Okinawa, Japan on October 21.

A special title was given to Charlene Marie Samonte as she was crowned Miss Guam Supermodel.

Davilynn Perez finished as the 1st run-up.

Cynthia Duque - Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2012

The annual Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2012 beauty pageant celebrating it's 19th anniversary was held last September 1 at the Poliforum del Centro de Convenciones, Tuxtla Gutierrez in Chiapas.

The event was hosted by Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete and Mexican celebrity Alan Tacher. It was locally broadcasted live by Televisa.

35 gorgeous young women participated for the national finals. The title was won eventually by 19 year old Cynthia Lizetthe Duque Garza from Monterrey representing Nuevo Leon. She was crowned by last year's winner, Karina Gonzalez.

Standing statuesque at 1.76m tall, Cynthia will represent the country in Miss Universe 2013 contest next year.

The "Suplente" or the 1st run-up was Lucero Montemayor. 2nd run-up was Karen Padilla. Finished as the 3rd run-up was Jacqueline Sauza. And finally, the 4th run-up position went to Jessica Amor.

Completing the top 10 semi-finalists were Gabriela Prieto, Natalia Serrano, Ana Karen Siorda, Chiara Leuzinger and Verenica Sanchez.

The delegate who reached the top 15 quarter finals were Jeraldine Gonzalez, Valeria Ruiz, Elisa Espinosa, Jasibi Suma and Karime Macias.

Miss Personality Fraiche went to Cynthia Duque. And the title of Steps to Fame trophy went to Veronica Sanchez.

The pageant's tradition, the National Costume Competition where the event was judged not for the contestants, but for the costume itself. The winning costume designer receives the "Aguja Diamante Award", and for this year, it was won by "Amazona del Totonacapan".

A special recognition was also given that night. "Corona al Mérito 2012" was credited by Ximena Navarrete.

Maria Gabriela Isler wins Miss Venezuela 2012

24 year old Miss Guarico, Maria Gabriela de Jesus Isler Morales won the most prestigious pageant in her nation, the Miss Venezuela 2012 contest. It was held last August 30 at the Salon Naiguata, Hotel Tamanaco Intercontinental in Caracas where she was crowned by last year's winner, Irene Esser.

Standing 1.79m tall, Gabriela from Maracay will compete at the Miss Universe 2013 competition next year.

Crowned as Miss Venezuela Internacional was Miss Aragua, Elian Herrera. This 21 year old beauty stands 184cm tall and will enter the Miss International 2013.

Miss Falcon, Alyz Henrich from Punto Fijo was awarded the title of Miss Venezuela Tierra. She is 21 years of age and stands 175cm tall. She will compete for the title of Miss Earth 2013 which is expected to be held in the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on November next year.

Finished as the 1st run-up was Miss Tachira, Ivanna Vale. And the 2nd run-up was Miss Yaracuy, Maria Julia Alvarez.

Completing the top 10 semi-finalists were: Hylenne Baez (Amazonas); Keilys Rivero (Bolivar); Milunay Hull (Cojedes); Oriana Lucchese (Miranda) and Rociree Silva (Peninsula Goajira) which was voted by the audience during the final night.

It is a tradition of Miss Venezuela to crown a delegate to represent them in Miss World. But for the 1st time in history it was not crowned during the national pageant. A separate selection will take place to choose Miss Venezuela Mundo 2013, as the MWO requires a special national titleholder to be sent by each participating country.

Nuestra Belleza Mundo Mexico 2013

18 year old Maria Elena Chagoya Triana from Poza Rica was crowned Nuestra Belleza Mundo Mexico 2013 (Miss World Mexico) during the preliminary competition for Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2013 contest.

Representing Vera Cruz, Maria Elena stands 1.81m tall and she will represent her country at the Miss World 2013 pageant in Jakarta, Indonesia on September next year.

In case for any chance she cant' compete in the said pageant, her 1st run-up will replace her, and she is Lucero Miroslava Montemayor Gracia.

Finalists for this title were Jacqueline Sauza, Cynthia Duque (who won the Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2012 crown) and Veronica Sanchez.

The other remaining delegates will still compete for the title Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2012 where the winner will enter the Miss Universe 2013 contest.

The annual national competition this year was organized by Lupita Jones (Miss Universe 1993) and Televisa, will be aired on August 31, 2012.

Dominican Republic is the venue of Miss Universe 2012

After all the waiting and excitement happened, finally MUO has made an agreement with Dominican authorities and the Miss Universe 2012 pageant will return to the Caribbean nation after 35 years and it will be held on December 11.

According to reliable source, representatives of the Miss Universe Organization will visit the Caribbean island few days later to decide weather the competition will take place in Santo Domingo or Punta Cana.

Almost 80 international beauties will gather on this annual event celebrating beauty in diversity.

Monic Marie Perez wins Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2013

Celebrating it's 58th annual edition, the Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2013 contest took place last August 29 at the Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce.

Representing Arecibo, 22 year old Monic Marie Perez Diaz eventually won the coveted title and was crowned by last year's winner, Bodine Koehler. She stands 5'9" tall and will represent her Caribbean island at the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant next year.

Miss Universe Sweden 2012 is Hanni Beronius

Last August 26, the annual Miss Universe Sweden 2012 took place at the Cafe Opera in Stockholm where the stunning beauty of Hanni Beronius was crowned. She was crowned by last year's winner, Ronnia Fornstedt.

21 year old Hanni from Gothenburg stands 1.74m tall. She will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant on December 11 in the Dominican Republic.

Finished as the 1st run-up and crowned Miss International Sweden was the 19 year old Katarina Konow. She stands 1.74m tall and will participate in the Miss International 2012 contest to be held on October 21 in the Nikko Naha Grand Castle Hotel in Naha, Okinawa, Japan.

Lastly, placed as the 2nd run-up and named the title of Miss Earth Sweden was Camilla Hansson from Stockholm (photo beside her was last year's Miss Earth Sweden, Renate Cerljen).
