Contestants of Miss Universe Australia 2012

On June 8, the finals of Miss Universe Australia 2012 will be held at the Sofitel Melbournein Collins. Scherri-Lee Biggs (photo above), the current winner will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Whoever among these 33 gorgeous ladies competing for the title wins, she will be sent to represent the country to the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 contest on December.

German representative to 2012 Miss World Pageant

Martina Ivezaj was assigned to represent Germany to the upcoming Miss World 2012 beauty pageant to be held on August 18 in Ordos Inner Mongolia in China. The decision was publicly announced by Carsten Mohr, president of Deutschlands Schonste.

22 year old Martina works as a model and was the former Miss Tuning Wahl 2009 and was featured on the famous Tuning World Bondensee calendar.

Avianca Bohm wins Miss Universe New Zealand 2012

Miss Universe New Zealand 2012 was held last June 3 the Amora Hotel in Wellington. The stunning Avianca Bohm, a 22 year old beauty from Auckland was declared as the night's winner.

Avianca stands 1.77m tall and she will be sent to compete and represent her country to the Miss Universe 2012 pageant on December.

Talia Bennett was the 1st run-up and Lauren Mann was the 2nd run-up. Monique Cooley and Jennifer Lambly completed the top 5 finalists.

Olivia Culpo from Rhode Island wins Miss USA 2012

The very 1st titleholder from Rhode Island, 19 year old Olivia Culpo recently crowned the new Miss USA 2012 during a live telecast beauty pageant held on June 3 at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada. Crowning her was last year's winner, Alyssa Campanella.

Standing 5'7" tall, Olivia from Cranston will represent America in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 competition on December.

Finished as 1st run-up was Baba Meriweather (Maryland). The 2nd run-up was Audrey Bolte (Ohio). Ended as 3rd run-up was the heavy favorite Jade Kelsall (Nevada). And finally, the 4th run-up was Jasmine Wilkins (Georgia).

Completing the top 10 semi-finalists were Katherine Webb (Alabama), Marybel Gonzalez (Colorado), Michelle Leonardo (New Jersey), Lauren Lundeen (Oklahoma) and Brittany Booker (Texas).

The rest of the top 16 quarter finalists are Erin Edmiston (Louisiana), Rani Williamson (Maine), Kristen Danyal (Michigan), Erika Powell (South Carolina), Jessica Hibler (Tennessee) and the winner of America's choice award voted via Internet and SMS is Kelsey Dow (Arkansas).

Rebecca Hodge from Iowa voted by her peers as Miss Congeniality, while Alaina Bergsma from Oregon was awarded as Miss Photogenic.

The 2-hour event featured musical performances from Cobra Starship and 5-time Grammy winner Akon. Special comments from correspondents Jeannie Mai from "How do I look?" and Kelly Osbourne brings backstage insights.

Culpo was one of the shortest Miss USA titleholder in history, but one of the most beautiful faces. With that stunning smile and great stage presence, without mentioning intelligence, I think she will go far in the Miss Universe contest. Goodluck Olivia!

Miss Queen of Scandinavia 2012 Pageant Winner

Julia Prokopenko edged out 14 other lovely candidates as she won the Miss Queen of Scandinavia 2012 held during a glittering pageant in a exclusive restaurant held in Copenhagen.

20 year old Julia currently works as a model and a student as well. She will be the official delegate of Denmark in Miss Supranational 2012 in Poland in September.

Saphira Elouise Janga crowned Miss Bonaire 2012

21 year old Saphira Elouise Janga from Kralendijk was crowned Miss Bonaire 2012 held at the Flamingo Runway Retreat in Kralendijk last June 2. She will represent Bonaire in Miss World 2013 Bali, Indonesia next year.


Meanwhile, Ana Maciel from Kralendijk was also crowned Miss World Bonaire 2012. She's 20 years old and stands 1.68m tall. Ana will compete in Miss World 2012 on August 18 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia.

Chary Ogando and Paula Petit also competed for the national title.

Miss Cote d'Ivoire 2012 is Helene-Valerie Djouka

Helene-Valerie Djouka, an 18 year old black beauty won the title of Miss Cote d'Ivoire 2012 during a glittering pageant held last June 2 at the Congress Palace of the Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan.

The 1.70m tall Helene Valerie will be the official bet of her country in Miss World 2012 on August 18 in Mongolia.

19 year old Marie-Josee Ouattara stands 1.71m tall finished as 1st run-up. She will compete in Miss Universe 2012 on December.

Annick Niamien was the 2nd run-up.

Alexia Laura Viruez Pictor wins Miss Bolivia 2012-2013

18 year old Alexia Laura Viruez Pictor won the title of Miss Universo Bolivia during the Miss Bolivia 2012 beauty pageant held last May 31 at the Siriono Hall of Fexpocuz in Santa Cruz.

18 year old Alexia from Santa Cruz stands tall at 1.77m. She will represent her countrymen in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 competition next year.

Finished as 1st run-up and awarded the title of Miss Mundo Bolivia was Mariana Garcia Mariaca of La Paz. 23 year old beauty stands 1.74m tall and will enter Miss World 2012 contest in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, People's Republic of China on August 18.

20 year old Stephanie Nunez Nogales from Pando was crowned Miss Internacional Bolivia. She stands 1.74m tall and will go to compete in Miss International 2012 on October in Okinawa, Japan. And lastly, Dayana Dorado ended as 3rd run-up and will compete in Miss Earth 2012 in Indonesia.

Miss Universo y Miss Mundo Uruguay 2012 Winners

2012 Miss Universo y Miss Mundo Uruguay beauty pageant took place last May 31 at the Hipodromo Nacional de Maronas in Montevideo.


18 year old Camila Vezzoso won the title of Miss Universe / Universo Uruguay. She is from Artigas and she stands 1.74m tall. Camila will represent the country in Miss Universe 2012 on December.


Meanwhile, Valentina Henderson took home the crown of Miss World / Mundo Uruguay. She have the key to compete in Miss World 2012 on August 18 at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium, Ordos in Inner Mongolia, China.

18 year old Valentina is from Salto and she stands 1.79m tall.

Meet Botswana's delegate in Miss World 2012

Tapiwa Anna-Marie Preston was given to title and crown of Miss Botswana 2012 and was handpicked to represent the African nation in Miss World 2012 to be held in Ordos Inner Mongolia in China on August 18.

Anna-Marie Preston was elected by the Botswana Council of Women as their representative due to date shift of the Miss World 2012 finals.

Phiona Bizzu wins Miss Uganda 2012

The annual Miss Uganda celebrated it's 2012 edition at the Victoria Ballroom of the Serena Hotel in Kampala last June 1. The exotic beauty Phiona Bizzu won the hearts of the judges and was crowned the new Miss Uganda 2012.

19 year old Phiona from Lira will represent her African nation country in Miss World 2012 on August 18 in Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium, Ordos in Inner Mongolia, China.

The 1st run-up was Josephine Nabakooza and the 2nd run-up was Agatha Tuhimbise. Rachel Kelly Kirabo and Maureen Atulinda completed the top 5 finalists.

Last June 2, the crowning of Farida Waller from Krabi as the new Miss Universe Thailand 2012 / มิสยูนิเวิร์สไทยแลนด์ winner. She was crowned by last year's winner, Chanyasorn Sakornchan.

18 year old Farida stands 5'8" tall. She will represent the kingdom of Thailand in Miss Universe 2012 on December.

Miss Turkey 2012 is Acelya Samyeli Danoglu

18 year old Acelya Samyeli Danoglu was crowned the new Miss Turkey 2012 and received the title of Miss Turkey World. She will be the official Turkish delegate to Miss World 2012 on August in China.

Acelya Samyeli stands 1.83m tall and she was born in Germany.


1st run-up and named Miss Turkey Universe was the 23 year old Cagil Ozge Ozkul, also from Ankara. She stands 1.80m tall and will compete in Miss Universe 2012 on December.


Crowned as Miss Turkey International or the 2nd run-up was Meltem Tuzuner. She is 23 year old and stands 1.75m tall. This beauty from Almanya will enter the Miss International 2012 contest in Okinawa Japan.

The 3rd run-up was Ilknur Melis Durasi, who will enter the Miss Earth 2012 in Indonesia.

Confirmed Moldovan delegate to Miss World 2012

Ana Diaconu, a 20 year old beauty was appointed to represent the European country of Moldova in the upcoming Miss World 2012 beauty pageant to be held on August 18 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia in People's Republic of China.

Ana stands 1.80m tall and she's from Chisinau. Her nation started competed in Miss World since 2000 but hasn't yet had any semi-finalist yet. Will Diaconu be the 1st one?
