Miss Philippines Earth 2009 is Sandra Inez Seifert

The controversial Sandra Inez Seifert (Miss Negros Occidental) won the title of Miss Philippines Earth 2009. She was crowned by Karla Henry, Miss Philippines Earth 2008 and also the reigning Miss Earth 2008.

Sandra was the disqualified candidate of the Bb. Pilipinas 2008 for posing in a men's magazine.

Seifert will represent her country at the Miss Earth 2009 Pageant to be held later this year in Manila, Philippines.

Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2009 is Ada Aimee dela Cruz

23 year old stunner, Ada Aimee de la Cruz won the Miss Dominican Republic 2009 beauty pageant held in Santo Domingo on Sunday, May 16. The 1.83m tall professional model will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2009 contest in the Nassau, Bahamas next August 23. Ada Aimee was crowned by last year's titleholder (and 2nd runner-up in Miss Universe 2008) Marianne Cruz Gonzales.

The 1st runner-up was Miss Monte Plata, Ana Rita Contreras, and the 2nd runner-up was Miss Distrito Nacional, Rocio Castellanos. The contestants from San Cristobal, Santiago and Duarte completed the Top 6 finalists.



Ada de la Cruz is no stranger to the pageant scene. She competed in the Miss Dominican Republic Universe pageant in 2007, where she reached a Top 10 spot. Afterwards she competed and won the Miss Mundo Dominicana contest, which gave her the right to represent her country at the Miss World 2007 pageant in Sanya, China and won the coveted Beach Beauty title and was among the Top 15 semi finalists.
