Miss Mundo Brasil 2012 is Mariana Notarangelo

22 year old Miss Rio de Janeiro, Mariana Notarangelo da Fonseca was just crowned last April 2 as the new Miss World Brazil 2012 / Miss Mundo Brasil 2012 held at the TV Pampa studios in Porto Alegre.

Mariana is from Duque de Caxias and stands 175cm tall. She is currently a student of Medicine. Her international pageant titles are International Queen of Coffee 2010 and Miss Global Beauty Queen 2011.

Notarangelo will now represent Brazil in Miss World 2012 contest in Ordos, Inner Monogolia in China on August 18.

Almost 70 gorgeous Brazilian women are invited to rejoin in the initial elimination, all of them are previous contestants of Miss Mundo Brasil. A group of 10 Finalists were chosen. But only 6 candidates reached the grand finals.

The 1st run-up was Camila Serakides, while the 2nd run-up was Karine Barros.

Completing the top 6 finalists were Andressa Mello, Larissa Costa and Mariane Silvestre.
