Maya Padillo Olesen wins Miss World Danmark 2011
Born in Nepal of Danish and Filipino parents, 20 year old Maya Celeste Padillo Olesen from Christiansfeld won the title of Miss World Danmark 2011 or popularly known as Miss World Denmark 2011 contest held at First Kong Frederik Hotel in Copenhagen on August 20. She was crowned by Miss Denmark World 2010, Natalya Averina.
The event was organized by Lisa Lents, director of Miss and Mister Denmark Organization and national director of Miss World in Denmark. 2 former beauty queens and 3 former Mr. Denmark graced the event as part of the judging panel: Lisa Lents (National Director Denmark, Miss World Denmark 2008), Sandra Vester (Miss Earth Denmark 2010 & Miss Europe Denmark 2006), Morten Krogh Jeppesen (Mr. Universe Model Denmark 2011), Anders Houmann (Mr. Universe Model Denmark 2010), Kristian Greiff (Mr. Denmark Manhunt International 2010).
Standing 1.75m tall, Maya Celeste Padillo Olesen will represent Denmark at the Miss World 2011 beauty contest on November 6 in London’s Earls Court in London, United Kingdom.
