Erica Nego wins Miss Universe Ghana 2011
26 year old Yayra Erica Nego from Plymouth, Minnesota was crowned as the new Miss Universe Ghana 2011 during a closed contest held at the Movenpik Ambassador Hotel in Accra. She was crowned by Krystle Awurama Simpson.
The 1st run-up was Jennifer Amegbor and the 2nd run-up was Angelica Alomele.
A pageant veteran, Yayra was a Top 15 Quarter Finalist representing Minnesota in Miss USA 2009.
Nego will represent Ghana in Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
