Miss Virginia, Caressa Cameron wins Miss America 2010

Caressa Cameron, Miss Virginia wins the title of Miss America 2010 beauty pageant held on January 30 at Theatre for the Performing Arts, Las Vegas, Nevada and televised live at TLC. Aside from the crown, she won $50,000 scholarship. She was crowned by Miss America 2009, Katie Stam.

Caressa Cameron is 22 year old from Fredericksburg. She is broadcast journalism student at Virginia Commonwealth University, and wants to become an anchor.

Close to the title was the 1st run-up Miss California, Kristy Cavinder. 2nd run-up place was Miss Tennessee, Stefanie Wittler. 3rd run-up is Miss Louisiana, Katherine Putnam. And lastly, Miss Kentucky, Mallory Ervin ended as the 4th run-up.

Day 1 preliminary talent winner of Miss America 2010 beauty pageant is Miss California, Kristy Cavinder for her ballet performance of "Ballet en Pointe". She will receive $2,000 scholarship. And winner of the $1,000 scholarship is Miss New York, Alyse Zwick who won the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness wearing a black Winnwear swimsuit.

Kaiane Aldorino, Miss World 2009 visits Japan

Miss World 2009, Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar visits Tokyo, Japan on January 2010. She was accompanied by Miss World Chairman, Julia Morley and they are welcomed by Eruza Sasaki, Miss Japan 2009 who represented Japan in Miss World 2009 and Hiroko Matsunaga, Miss Japan 2010 who will compete in Miss World 2010 to be held in Vietnam.

Kaiane's trip to Tokyo also includes her visit to Korea and next trip will be on Brunei.

Visit to Korea where she met Cha Ye Rin, Miss Korea 2009 who competed in the Miss World 2009 beauty pageant and Ryu Ji Kwang, Mister Korea 2010 who will compete in the Mister World 2010.

Miss Atlantic International 2010 Winner is Miss Venezuela, Jessica Guillen

Jessica Guillen, Miss Venezuela win the Miss Atlantico Internacional 2010 / Miss Atlantic International 2010 beauty pageant held on January 23 in Punta del Este, Uruguay. The contest was televised by Teledoce Televisora color, live and direct satellite Latin America Television. Jessica was crowned by Eliana Quintero, Miss Atlantico Internacional 2009.

The 1st run-up was Miss Argentina, Mariana Palleiro who also receive the Best in National Costume Award. And the 2nd run-up is Miss Cuba, Lisandra Silva Rodriguez.
