On a world atlas, my country of Nepal is very minute to even be located . In the world economy, it might not take the hot spot but the tallest point of our earth, the Mr. Everest lies in my country.
What environmental project will you create to promote the protection of mother earth and why?.
I would like to initiate a project called "Earth and I". The focus of this project is an individual effort on a daily basis because I believe that small efforts can bring about great changes.
What do you think is the biggest problem your environment faces today?
There are many problems but what comes to my mind is illegal hunting and poaching, glacier like outbursts, pollution in Mt. Everest and the melting of snow capped mountains due to global warming.
What makes your proud of the country you are representing and what can you promote about your country?
On a world atlas, my country is very minute to even be located . In the world economy, it might not take the hot spot but the tallest point of our earth lies in my country, Nepal. The symbolic Lord Buddha was born in my country and God has truly blessed this land with rich cultural diversity, nature, flora and fauna and hospitable people. The rich cultural heritages and traditional monuments amidst the valley make the city a living museum in itself.
What is your environmental advocacy?
Establish 'Earth and I', an organization that will focus on individual effort.
