BIO:
FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT MY HOMETOWN/COUNTRY:
My favorite thing about my country is our crafts such as our trendy and unique straw bags that are made by talented Bahamian designers, and our jewelry made from fish scales, cans, seashells just to name a few. It amazes me the talent that I see which inspires me to use my talent.

LIFE'S AMBITITIONS:
My life’s ambition is to fulfill God’s will for my life and leave a legacy of excellence, happiness, purpose and service that will captivate the minds of our people.

HOBBIES:
I enjoy parasailing, water cycling, yoga, dancing, kayaking, bowling, karaoke and window shopping. I enjoy anything that is recreational and water sports.

MY GOALS IN LIFE:
My goal is to pursue God’s will for my life, strive for excellence and prosperity in everything that I do, accomplish my dreams, give back to my country through my passions and service and my ultimate goal is to be happy!

MY BEST ASSET IS:
My spirit. Through my strong and motivating spirit, I am able to press my way through hardships and inspire others through happiness.

MY DAILY PHILOSOPHY IS:
My philosophy in life is “Don’t go through life, grow through life”. Life is a journey within itself and it comes with its ups and downs. We should learn from every adversity, accomplishment, disappointment, victory and defeat. A great example of this is this pageant. It is a growing process and it allows us to develop and mature into beautiful ‘Queens’ and discover our purpose and power and have confidence to impact humanity, win or lose.

THE MOVIE (AND/OR BOOK) THAT MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE:
The book that has most influenced my life is “Captivating” by Stasi Eldredge. This book is about unveiling a woman’s soul. It helped me to discover my beauty, which is my spirit. It gave me clarity on what God thinks of me and confidence to exude the woman He wants me to be. The message conveyed is “Every woman has a beauty to Unveil” and I strongly believe that “True Beauty is in the Spirit!”

WHO I WOULD LIKE TO MEET AND WHY :
I would like to meet Michael Jackson better known as “King of Pop.” He left a great influence on my life through his legacy of compassion and talent. We both share the same ambition which is to leave a legacy of love and passion for humanity.

I AM MOTIVATED BY:
My environment. A bad environment will motivate me and give me a desire to succeed and make a difference and a good environment inspires me to strive for excellence. Although I am self motivated, my inspiration is God because it’s through His strength I can do all things.

WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE JUDGES TO KNOW ABOUT ME IS:
I am passionate about the development of my country and our youth. I have a strong belief in my country’s motto which is “Forward, Upward, Onward and Together” and I believe with great leaders and ambassadors and our walk with God we can continually achieve this. I would like the opportunity to become an international ambassador for my country and leave a legacy of ‘Excellence’, ‘Patriotism’ and ‘Hope’.

MY COMMUNITY SERVICE/ACHIEVEMENTS ARE: My community service is speaking in the lives of our people through speeches and TV shows. Also supporting and participating in various community activities such as ‘Subway Fun/Run/Walk’ and Bahamas Against Crime Candlelight Vigil just to name a few and organizations such as Bahamas Heart Associations (Volunteer), My Heart Matters Group (Youth Coordinator) etc. I was awarded the ‘Pursuit of Excellence award’ in the 2007 Theodore Elyett Miss Teen Bahamas Pageant and Miss Humanitarian 2008. These awards I am most proud of, though there were many others inclusive Miss Teen Bahamas Intercontinental 2008, because it confirms my passion for humanity and my dreams.
