BIO:
FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT MY HOMETOWN/COUNTRY:
My country has one of the most unique cultures which cannot be found anywhere else in the world. The most amazing thing about my hometown is the warm embrace of its people; we are kind hearted, amiable and very outgoing. What I love most about the Bahamas is that the tranquil beaches are right outside my doorstep. It’s just something about the crystal clear blue waters that brings me a sense of calmness and peace. Secondly, I cannot go without the delicious taste of our native dishes, conch salad and Nassau grouper. Lastly, I don’t think you have truly lived until you have experienced the sweet sounds of the Junkanoo music; cowbells, goatskin drums and blow horns, whilst the vibrant colorful costumes are danced in the streets of the city. This is where I am from, how amazing is that!

LIFE'S AMBITITIONS:
My life ambition is to always live a purpose driven life. Your purpose in life is the purpose of life.

HOBBIES:
My hobbies are interior designing, reading, cooking, traveling and playing tennis.

MY GOALS IN LIFE:
My educational journey has been guided by my passion to help others through the field of medicine. With that in mind, my goals in life are to become a successful, strong and independent woman.

MY BEST ASSET IS:
I believe my best asset is my humility. I see humility as doing the right thing even when no one is looking. I don’t consider it as being perfect, but being humble allows me to submit easily to God’s will, giving him first place in my decisions, actions and motivations. My humility keeps me smiling!

MY DAILY PHILOSOPHY IS:
My daily philosophy is, “There is life and death in the power of the tongue.” I feel that what you speak about you bring about. If you speak positively, positive things will occur in your life, even with the simplest of things. Let me let you in on a little secret ….. I never say that I’m coming down with a cold, I say I’m fighting a cold. Oh yeah, and I’m never broke, I’m just temporarily out of cash. Trust me it works! It’s like magic and I’m the magician! (lol)

THE MOVIE (AND/OR BOOK) THAT MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE:
The movie that most influenced my life is Kung Fu Panda. It’s the kind of movie you watch a thousand times and the lessons learnt never get old. This film teaches how to believe in yourself, even if at times you are the only one; be the best you can possibly be; and be your own hero. What you think might be your greatest weaknesses can become your greatest strengths! The secret ingredient to life is that there is no secret ingredient! Just be true to yourself and use your gifts, talents and abilities to make God look good.

WHO I WOULD LIKE TO MEET AND WHY
I would like to meet Michelle Obama, my ideal timeless beauty. Her inner beauty, intelligence, strength and character shine through with her outer beauty. Her genuine giving spirit and humility are admirable.

I AM MOTIVATED BY:
I am motivated by my family. We all encourage each other so if there is ever some advice or inspiration I may need, I can count on them to build me up with lots of love and support. I am mostly influence by my older brother. Even though he became successful, he remains grounded, always helping others. The saying is true, “A family that prays together stays together.”

WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE JUDGES TO KNOW ABOUT ME IS:
I would love the Judges to know that I have sculpted and prepared my inner and outer beauty for this opportunity. I have educated myself, exposed myself and poised myself in the way of an ideal representative for my country. I have and will continue to inspire and act as a positive example and motivation. I feel that with my experience in these opportunities I will be able to make a difference to my community at large.

MY COMMUNITY SERVICE/ACHIEVEMENTS ARE:
I began my community service venture throughout my high school years, serving at Center For The Deaf as well as various children homes within Nassau. During college years I was chosen by the Vice President of my university to be a member of LYNAY (Love Your Neighbor As Yourself), an elite club which focuses on building relationships within the community and with each other. For my time there I have accumulated many documented service hours. They all consist of various projects including involvement in my local church, visiting with the sick, making food baskets for low income families, as well as assisting with children in the daycare facilities. My most memorable moments were mentoring a group of 5th grade girls who were in broken homes. Aside from that, I was also involved in the production of several fashion shows which benefited organizations such as Eternal Threads, Handbags for Hope and Wishing Well.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN THREE WORDS:
Driven, confident, ready.
