Massiel Taveras wins Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2007
Miss Santiago de los Caballeros, Massiel Indhira Taveras Henriquez won the Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2007 / Miss Republica Dominicana Universo 2007 Beauty Pageant during a televised event that took place at the Teatro La Fiesta.
Massiel Taveras is a 22-year old student of Interior Design. She stands 5'7" tall and will be the representative of her country at the Miss Universe 2007 in Mexico City, Mexico.
The 1st runner-up was Miss Salcedo (Marianne Cruz); 2nd runner-up was Miss Duarte (Sheila Garcia), 3rd runner-up was Miss Altagracia (Janna Montas) and the 4th runner-up was Miss Sanchez Ramirez (Yessenia Aybar).
Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2007, Uma Blasini attended the event. Massiel Taveras was crowned by Mia Taveras, Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2006 and the current Senorita / Srta. Continente Americano and Miss Global Cities.
