Miss Venezuela 2012 Delegates

The 59th annual Miss Venezuela pageant was scheduled to take place on August 30, 2012 at the Salon Naiguata, Hotel Tamanaco Intercontinental in Caracas and broadcasted live by Venevision and Venevision Plus.

The reigning Miss Venezuela 2011, Irene Esser together with her court will crown this year's winners. The new beauty queen will be the official representative of the country in Miss Universe 2013 contest next year. The runners-up will compete in Miss Earth, Miss International, Reina Hispanoamericana and Reina Internacional del Cafe 2013 competitions.

Winner of Miss Global Teen Bolivia 2012

Meet Joselyn Toro Leigue, an 18 year old stunner from Santa Cruz is the new winner of Miss Global Teen Bolivia 2012 pageant. She was chosen during a casting conducted by Promociones Gloria. She was crowned by the reigning Miss Bolivia Universe, Alexia Viruez, who in 2010 represented Bolivia in Miss Global Teen.

Joselyn Toro is a model and student of Business Administration. She loves to swim and plays all kinds of sports, including volleyball, basketball and soccer.

Leigue will be the official representative of Bolivia in Miss Global Teen 2012 contest to be held on November 24 in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

Minas Gerais wins Miss Global Teen Brazil 2012!

15 year old Nathalia Carneiro from Joao Monlevade City, Minas Gerais won the title of Miss Global Teen Brazil 2012 which was held in Angra dos Reis in Rio de Janeiro and organized by Ivaldo Ximenes.

Standing 1.80m tall, Nathalia loves to play tennis, reading and traveling. She will be the official representative of Brazil in Miss Global Teen 2012 beauty pageant to be held in Mar del Plata in Argentina this coming November 24.

Finished as the 1st run-up was Caroline Ribeiro (Ceara). Followed by the 2nd run-up Camile Abrantes (Alagoas). Ana Franca (Mato Grosso do Sul) ended up as the 3rd run-up. And finally, Josy Dias (Bahia) finished as 4th run-up place.

Gabriela Calix is the new Miss Teen Nicaragua 2012

Stunning Gabriela Calix, 16 year old from Chinandega city won the crown of Miss Teen Nicaragua 2012 during a pageant held on July 14 in Managua.

The competition was organized by Xiomara Blandino, former Miss Nicaragua Universe and Tourism Queen International.

Gabriela is currently 5th year high school at Colegio Hogar Paulo Sexto. She describes herself as very positive, outgoing, responsible, funny, kind, honest, reserved, loving and above all have faith in God. During her spare time, she enjoys dancing, reading about history, astronomy, reading the magazine 'You' and watch scary movies. She loves spending time with family and eating ice cream with friends.

The beauty queen dreams of having a career in Gynecology and Astronomy. Also, she would love to create a foundation for street children would be named "Luz de esperanza (Light of Hope)".

Michelle Aguirre wins Miss Florida USA 2012

19 year old Miss Broward County Fair USA, Michelle Aguirre from Hialeah was crowned Miss Florida USA 2013 during an annual pageant held at the Bailey Concert Hall in Fort Lauderdale last July 14.

Standing 173cm tall, Michelle has a Cuban decent. She's still a student and currently works as a model. She will represent Florida in Miss USA 2013 competition next year.

Miss West Broward USA, Jessica Santiago finished as the 1st run-up. The stunning Miss Miami Carnival USA, Damaris Aguilar was the 2nd run-up. The 3rd run-up place went to Miss Central Florida USA, Jaclyn Raulerson. And finally the 4th run-up position was given to Miss Delray Beach US, Connor Boss who became popular during the week for being legally blind.

Mister Universe Model 2012 Winner

Mr. Dominican Republic, the 24 year old Erick Jimenez Sabater won the title of Mister Universe Model 2012 held last July 13 in the Dominican Republic.

Erick stands 1.84m tall and works as an Actor and TV presenter in his country.

23 year old Christine Mwaaba was selected to represent Zambia at the Miss World 2012 beauty pageant on August 18 at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia at the People's Republic of China.

Christine from Lusaka stands 1.74m tall. She was the 2nd run-up in Miss Zambia 2010 contest.

Representative of Belize in Miss World 2012

20 year old Chantae Chanice Guy was handpicked to represent Belize in the upcoming Miss World 2012 beauty pageant to be held at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia in the People's Republic of China on August 18.

Chanice stands 1.75m tall. She is the 1st run-up in Miss World Belize 2011 contest.

Bayarmaa Khuselbaatar wins Miss World Mongolia 2012

Bayarmaa Khuselbaatar won the title of Miss World Mongolia 2012 during a casting call closed by Desoft Media, national license holders of Miss World in Mongolia.

Khuselbaatar was raised and born in Ulaanbaatar city. Her family has four members she's still living with her parents and younger brother and our lovely dog named “Tsagaanaa”. Her favorite dishes are Lasagna, and our traditional food, which name is “Buuz”, “Khuushuur”. She loves to listen to the music from Richard Clayderman, Yanni and Jules Gabriel Verne. Her favorite book were “Robinson Cruzo”, Daniel Defoe and A.P.Chekhov. She dreams to be a Hollywood famous actress, and also like to have her own dramatic theatre in her country in the near future.

Yvonne Lee wins Miss World Malaysia 2012

23 year old Yvonne Lee from Kuala Lumpur won the title of Miss World Malaysia 2012 during an annual beauty pageant held at the Zouk Club in Kuala Lumpur last July 8.

Yvonne stands 1.70m tall and she will compete in Miss World 2012 on August 18 at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia at the People's Republic of China.

Vera Chang was the 1st run-up and Jocelyn Coco finished as the 2nd run-up.

Miss Bermuda 2012 was Crowned

A stunner from Hamilton, Rochelle Minors was crowned as the new Miss Bermuda 2012 during a beauty pageant held at the Mid-Ocean Amphitheatre of the Fairmont Southampton Resort on July 8.

Rochelle will represent her country in Miss World 2012 on August 18 at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia at the People's Republic of China.

Finished as 1st run-up was Chelsy Furtado while Lene Hypolite was the 2nd run-up. Dwanae Simons and Deshona Perinchief completed the top 5 finalists.

Star Cyprus / Miss Cyprus 2012

19 year old Daniella (Ntaniella) Kefala from Paralimni was crowned as the new Star Cyprus during the annual Pancyprian Official Beauty Contest held last July 6 in Nicosia.

Daniella stands 171cm tall and she will represent Cyprus in Miss Universe 2012 pageant on December.

Crowned as Miss Cyprus was the 21 year old Georgia Georgiou from Limassol.

Georgia stands 1.74m tall and will compete in the Miss World 2012 competition on August 18 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia in China.

Tzouliana Georgallidou finished as the 1st run-up and Ioanna Giannakou ended as the 2nd run-up.

Meet the representative of Iceland in Miss World 2012

21 year old Iris Telma Jonsdottir from Reykjavik and stands 5'5" tall was appointed to be the representative of Iceland in the upcoming Miss World 2012 beauty pageant on August 18 to be held at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia at the People's Republic of China.

Miss Korea 2012 is Yumi Kim

22 year old Kim Yumi was crowned Miss Korea 2012 during an annual pageant held at the Peace Hall in Kyung Hee University, in Seoul and organized by Hankooki.

Kim Yu stands 1.76m tall and will enter the Miss Universe 2012 contest in December. She was crowned by Miss Korea 2011, Lee Seong-Hye, who will compete in the Miss International 2012 pageant in Okinawa this coming October.

Miss International Dominican Republic 2012

22 year old Melody Mir was crowned Miss International Dominican Republic 2012 during a beauty pageant held held at the LEVEL in Santo Domingo on June 4.

Melody is currently a student of tourism, she stands 1.77cm tall and will now represent the country at the Miss International 2012 competition to be held in Okinawa, Japan, in October.

Mir also 2nd run-up in the Reina Hispanoamericana 2009 contest in Bolivia. She speaks Spanish, English, French, German and Catala.

The New Miss Supranational Dominican Republic 2012

After Sally Aponte gave up her title to be able to compete in the Miss World pageant this year, she was replaced by Carolyn Hawa Rodriguez as the new titleholder of Miss Supranational Dominican Republic 2012, and she will enter the Miss Supranational 2012 contest to be held in Poland this coming September 15.

23 year old Carolyn Hawa stands 1.79m tall. She was the 2nd run-up in the Miss DR Universe competition held last April.

Miss Slovenije 2012

Nives Oresnik, a 20 year old beauty from Maribor recently won the title of Miss Slovenije 2012 after being chosen by a panel of 6 jurors during a casting call held in Ljubljana, with the purpose of finding the official delegate who would represent Slovenia in the 62nd Miss World finals to be held at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia at the People's Republic of China on August 18.

Mister & Miss Hrvatske 2012

21-year old Maja Nikolic from Zagreb was crowned Miss Hrvatske 2012 during a beauty pageant held last July 2 at the Zagreb Green Gold Club.

Maja stands 175cm tall and she will represent Croatia in Miss World 2012 contest in Ordos, Inner Mongolia in the People's Republic of China on August 18.

22 year old Tea Boskovic finished as 1st run-up while the 20 year old Anita Modric was the 2nd run-up.

Meanwhile, in the same event, Antonio Sincek, a 19 year old hunk from Samobor won the title of Mister Hrvatske 2012 and he will enter the Mister World 2012 finals on November. Dejan Vukovic (23) and Arsen Filipovic (22) finished as 1st and 2nd runners up respectively.

Miss Peru Universo y Miss Peru Mundo 2012

The grand finale of Miss Peru 2012 was held on June 30 at the Real Felipe Fortress Convention Center in Callao, televised by Panamericana Television and organized by Tito Paz Eventos.

A total of 20 stunning contestants competed in the event. Last year's winners Natalie Vertiz and Giuliana Zevallos passed their titles to their respective successors.

Crowned as Miss Peru Universo 2012 was Señorita Region Lima, Cindy Mejia. She's 23 year old from Lima and stands 1.74m tall. Cindy will enter the Miss Universe pageant on December.

20 year old Señorita Callao, Melissa Paredes was named as the new Miss Peru Mundo 2012. She stands 1.73m tall and will compete in Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia.

Finished as 1st run-up was Elba Fahsbender (Piura). The 2nd run-up place went to Kelin Rivera (Junin). 3rd run-up was Paola Rodriguez Larrain (La Libertad). And finally, the 4th run-up was Alexa Caceres Drago (Cajamarca).

Completing the top 12 semi-finalists were Diana Rengifo (Ucayali), Samantha Batallanos (Lima), Ana Sologuren Torres (Moquegua), Jimena Alarcon (Amazonas), Akemi Giura (Trujillo) and Fabiola Diaz (Loreto).

Agnieszka Karasiewicz from Warsaw was crowned as the new Miss Polski Nastolatek 2012 / Miss Poland Teen 2012 during a beauty pageant held on July 1 at the Amphitheatre in Kozienice.

17 year old Agnieszka stands 178cm tall won a brand new scooter and the privilege to compete representing her country in Miss Global Teen 2012 contest to be held in Mar del Plata, Argentina this coming November.

The runners-up were Aleksandra Mandryk (16, Bobrowiec) who was also awarded as 'Miss Jovi', one of the major sponsor, Kinga Marunowska (16, Gdansk), Aleksandra Ulewska (17, Olsztyn) and Adrianna Mazur (17, Mielec).

This annual event was broadcasted live by TVP4, where 24 official delegates competed.

Biography: Alex grew up in Mill Creek, WA where she loves to spend time fishing with her Dad, hang out at her family cabin, snowboard, or engage in any outdoor adventure. However, she claims her true main passion to be dance as she is trained in ballet, jazz, tap, break dancing and hip-hop. Over the years, Alex has received numerous scholarships at many prestigious dance competitions around the country.

A senior at Jackson High School, Carlson-Helo is a varsity cheerleader is also a member of Jackson's prestigious Drum Line and Percussion Ensemble. As the ASB Executive Board Treasurer, Alex is devoted to making every student's experience at Jackson memorable.

Her greatest passion is mentoring other teens and advocating building self-confidence. Using her strengths from a middle school incident, she developed a website and blog to reach out to help other teens with harassment issues. Alex's volunteerism has focused on Special Needs organizations; she volunteers as a counselor during her summers at Camp Patterson, a Special Needs camp. She is currently working with the local Special Olympics and forming a Special Needs Cheer Squad. She plans to major in Special Needs Education and return to Jackson High School to devote her career to teaching and helping Special Needs teens thrive in high school.

Moreover, she is currently the Junior Class Secretary, the president of the FBLA club, and a softball player. One of her greatest accomplishments is that she has maintained a 4.0 GPA since 5th grade.

Biography: Karsen is a junior at Essex High School. She is an active member of her schools GSTA (Gay, Straight, Transgender Alliance) Club and SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) club. Her works in these clubs included organizing a school wide bullying protest sit-in, and various surveys and informational meetings about seat-belt safety, healthy relationship practices, and making healthy life-style choices. Throughout high school she has been involved with basketball, track, and gymnastics. At the age of 15 Karsen began her first job as a dishwasher and worked there for 2 years, she now works as a cashier at a local grocery store.

Of all Wood's volunteer works she is most passionate about her involvement with the Special Olympics of Vermont, the school’s Unified Sports Club, and the Howard Center. Karsen has been very closely connected to people with special needs due to her mom’s life long involvement in the career field. Karsen hopes to stay active with the Special Olympics and potentially dedicate her life to Special Education as her mother and grandmother have.

Biography: Keilara McCormick lives in Lehi, Utah and is a senior at American Fork High School where she is a varsity player on the high school soccer team and track team. Keilara excels in not only athletics, but also academics as she is an honor student and her favorite subjects are English, Art, Arabic and AP history. Moreover, she has received awards for writing her own poetry and creating outstanding pottery work in school.

McCormick's number one hobby is playing the violin, and she has been playing it for nearly 10 years. Beyond that, she loves to dance, snowboard, cook and hang out with her friends during her free time.

She has volunteered as a coach at local soccer camps for youth over the summer, and loves to help in any way she can. She stays involved in her community by cleaning her neighborhood church on the weekends. However, with a 4.0 GPA, she seems certain of where her future lies as well. Madison plans on going to medical school to become a specialized nurse.

Among Lee's more unusual accomplishments: she has been a tap dancer in an off-Broadway show, is Captain of her cheer squad, runs Anchor on her 4x4 relay team, maintains a spot on the All "A" Honor Roll and has racked up an incredible 300+ community service hours, many as a volunteer for Street Reach Ministries. Showing an entrepreneurial spirit, Madison has a small baking business where she makes 'cake pops' for private parties and any special event.

The most important words that Lee lives by are, "Be all there." She defines this motto as, "being able to be in the moment no matter what you are doing. No matter how many directions you are pulled in, no matter what is happening around you, take time to stop and take it all in." She adds, "be able to treat someone as your only priority--as if they are the only person in the room at that moment."

Biography: Shanese Marcene attends Martin Luther King Jr. Academic Magnet High School, where she loves to challenge herself by taking AP honors History, Physics, and Pre- Calculus courses while maintaining a 3.0 GPA. There, she also serves her fellow classmates as the junior class president and is a member of the Gay/Straight Alliance, a member of Architectural Civil Engineering Mentoring Program, and a Varsity cheerleader. Upon graduation, Shanese has ambitions to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering/Design.

Striving to make positive influences in her community, Brown is the President of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship at her local church, a mentor for Girls United, a volunteer with the Moves and Grooves, Inc. and the Ladies of Purpose program, encouraging young teens about the importance of healthy living, setting goals and working to achieve them. In her free time, she enjoys music, art, and yoga. Some of her notable accomplishments include designing a neighborhood with the Nashville Civic Design Center, which is featured in a documentary, and being featured on Lifetime television.

Biography: Kalani will be entering her senior year of high school this fall, where she'll be participating in varsity football cheer, competitive cheer, and varsity boy's basketball cheer. She is a member of her school's Concert Choir and Chamber Choir, and is honored to be a member of the South Dakota All State Chorus. Kalani rounds out her extracurricular activities with a spot on her high school varsity bowling team. Growing up, Kalani participated in gymnastics, dance, bowling leagues, piano recitals, orchestra, band, church and school choir concerts, Girl Scouts, and church youth group.

Jorgensen says she always puts her all into something she wants. She shares, "Not coming back this year wasn't an option. Last year my goal was Top 15, but once it came down to the Top 5, it was in my blood. I knew a year ago that I would be back on that stage this year with the ultimate goal of wearing the crown!"

Biography: Shannon is from Gilbert, South Carolina and is a recent graduate of Gilbert High School. While in High School, she enjoyed being a part of Chorus, Drama, Broadcasting & English Honors' Classes. In her spare time, Shannon likes to be with her friends and also enjoys cooking, modeling, performing in Drama Productions and volunteering. Recently, she has modeled in runway shows for Supermodels Unlimited magazine in LA, New York City and Charlotte. She appeared in the "2011 Cinderella's Closet" Prom Magazine and has also modeled for Bebe.

Since being crowned, Ford has been all over the state making appearances and volunteering for several local and state charitable organizations as well as Children's Hospitals. She plans to attend the University of South Carolina and major in Broadcasting.

Livia Stencel - Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2012

Biography: Livia is a first generation American and speaks fluent Polish. She is currently a senior at Warwick Veterans Memorial High School where she participates in the Leadership Academy and maintains a 4.0 GPA.

She enjoys swimming for her school and has also practiced tennis, hip-hop and scuba diving. Last year, she received Honorable Mention on her swim team and placed 14th in the 100m backstroke in 2010, and 9th in the 100m backstroke in 2011; both were in the Division 111 Championship.

In the summer time, Stencel shoots at her local shooting range in the Junior Rifle Program. This year, she won first place at the final shoot in prone position.

In addition to visiting the shooting range, Livia's summertime activities include traveling to Poland to visit her family. Livia has a love for animals and says she hopes to one day have the opportunity to help and care for animals with a low population rate or that are close to extinction.

Benion plans on attending a university to study both theater arts and political science. Her career aspiration is to become an actress. Kiana loves spending time with her friends and family and is always trying to make people laugh.

Jessica Morgan - Miss Oklahoma Teen USA 2012

Miss Oklahoma, Jessica Morgan

Hometown: Yukon

Biography: Jessica Lee attends Yukon High School located in Yukon, Oklahoma, where she is taking advanced placement classes and has received honors in Drama by being selected “Best Comedic actress,” for 2010 and 2011 for her comedy performances.

In addition to attending school, Jessica also worked full time as a Model for AD Models in Oklahoma and the FORD/RB Agency office in Arizona.

She also dedicates much of her free time to volunteering in the community with several charities that are close to her heart such as The Dyslexia Foundation and Special Olympics just to name a few. As a small child Jessica was diagnosed with Dyslexia and spent many years learning how to work through having Dyslexia.

From an early age, Morgan has loved to paint, sketch and design, and has exhibited her paintings and donated several pieces to be auctioned and sold for the Restoration of Haiti charity at her church. Her goal is to study Theatre, Art and Design at one of the University’s that she has been offered a scholarship while continuing her acting and modeling career.
