The annual Miss Universe Jamaica will be held on May 12, 2012. The reigning queen, Shakira Martin will take her final walk and crown her successor during the event.

The new winner will represent country at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant in December.

Sveriges Man (Mister Sweden) 2012 is Peter Jonsson

Peter Jonsson was elected as the new Sveriges Man also referred as Mister Sweden 2012. 40 gorgeous men around the country have competed in the event. Kristoffer is expected to represent Sweden in the next Manhunt International 2012, possibly in Thailand, in October (TBA).

His 1st run-up was Kristoffer Hultling. 2nd run-up place went to Josephs Medford. And finally, 3rd run-up was Kristap Mikkola.

Andy Derleth of New Zealand wins Mr. Gay World 2012

Last April 8, the 4th annual Mr. Gay World competition was held in Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City. And the handsome Mister New Zealand, Andreas Derleth was declared as this year's grand winner. He will continue to carry on the vision and mission of the organization that seeks to fight the discrimination and stigma faced by the gay community in many countries today. Mr. Gay World empowers and raises the visibility of optimistic gay men in a constructive dialogue with our fellow citizens.

Andreas works as a operations project manager of Warehouse Stationery in New Zealand. He has a Bachelor degree in business management. Andy has a passion for travel and sports and participated in the 2nd Asia-Pacific Outgames and is very excited to be going to Antwerp next year for the world Outgames. He has a long term relationship and on the 11-11-11 he entered in a same-sex civil union in New Zealand.

Marie Hughes was dethroned as Miss Ireland 2012

Recently crowned as Miss Ireland 2012, Marie Hughes was dethroned of her title because of being over aged for the criteria of the Miss World pageant.

The 1st run-up, Rebecca Maguire, a 20 year old beauty from Belfast is the new Miss Ireland 2012 winner and will compete in Miss World 2012 on August in Mongolia.

Organizers did not disclose exactly if Hughes lied in her application. All media outlets reporting on the competition started that she was 21 years old at that time she was crowned. Miss World Organization's rules states that all candidates must be between 16 to 24 years of age during the time of the international competition.

Ina - dethroned! Gabriela Vasileva - the new Miss Bulgaria 2012

The organizers of Miss Bulgaria pageant have dethroned Ina Mancheva after it was found out that a hacker attack had manipulated the online vote of the audience.

The new Miss Bulgaria 2012 is now the 1st run-up, Gabriela Valerieva Vasileva.

The audience vote counted as 3 points, but the check of the organizers revealed manipulation and showed that Vassileva was actually one point ahead of Mancheva.

The votes for Mancheva had come in large numbers from some very strange places such as Bangladesh and Pakistan, the judges says, admitting their own mistakes and confirming that they will close the online vote in next year's competition.

"The decision is hurting my self-esteem, but made me wiser... This pageant must be honest. I wish Gabriela luck at the Miss World contest. I feel offended because results had to be checked earlier", Ina confessed.

Gabriela Vassileva will now the official entry of Bulgaria in Miss World 2012 pageant.

Stunning Julia Skalkovic wins Miss Belarus 2012

Very beautiful, Julija (Julia / Yulia) Skalkovic was declared as the new winner of Miss Belarus 2012 (Міс Беларусь 2012) contest held last May 4 at the Palace of the Republic in Minsk.

20 year old Yulia from Brest will represent her country in Miss World 2012 to be held on August 18 in Ordos, Mongolia.

Viktoryja (Victoria / Viktoria) Saviel was the 1st run-up and Anastasija (Anastasia) Pahranicnaja was the 2nd run-up. Since Miss Belarus is a biennial contest, one of the runners-up will compete in Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia on September next year.

Natalie Glebova Launched her own "Beauty Icon" Fragrance

Former Miss Universe of 2005, Natalie Glebova officially launched her own line of fragrance called "Beauty Icon" during an special event held last May 5 at the VIE Hotel in Bangkok.

The beauty queen from Canada, who resides in Thailand since 2006 after her reign, is also the owner of the blog called "Healthy, Happy, Beautiful" where she shares on advice on how to lead a healthy and beautiful lifestyle.

In the said blog, also describes the creation process of her perfume.

Isabelle Agbor Ayuk is the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2012

Representing the Cross River state, Isabelle Agbor Ayuk won the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2012 contest celebrating it's 25th year which was held at the Best Western Homeville Hotel in Benin City last May 5.

25 year old Isabelle had already competed in the pageant back in 2004. The 175cm tall beauty comes from Etung local government area of Cross River state. She's currently a student at the University of Calabar.

As the Most Beautiful Girl 2012, Agbor Ayuk will represent her African nation country in Miss World 2012 to be held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia in China on August 18.

The 1st run-up was Miss Rivers, Damiete Charles-Granville, who will enter the Miss Universe 2012 pageant on December.

Miss Abuja, Ifeoma Umeokeke was declared as the 2nd run-up and will travel to China for the Miss Tourism Queen International on September.

Miss Osun, Okafor Christabel Nkechinyere and Miss Kaduna, Joyce Chidebe completed the Top 5 finalists.

Miss Universe GB 2012 winner is Holly Hale

Holly Hale from Swansea City (Wales) was recently crowned as the new Miss Universe GB 2012 during the annual contest held last May 5 at the Town Hall in Birmingham.

21 year old Holly stands 180cm tall and currently studying in Cardiff University taking up a coarse in Psychology. She will be the official representative of Great Britain in Miss Universe 2012 on December.

Shristi Shrestha wins Miss Nepal 2012

Shristi Shrestha, a 20 year old lass from Chitwan was declared as the new Miss Nepal 2012 during the conclusion of a pageant held at the Hotel de l’Annapurna in Kathmandu on May 6 and was broadcasted live by NTV Online.

Standing 1.76m tall, Shristi will compete representing her country in Miss World 2012 on August 18 in Ordos Inner Mongolia, China.

Subekshya Khadka from Lalitpur was placed as the 1st run-up and also crowned Miss Nepal International 2012. She is 19 year old, standing 1.68m tall and will compete in Miss International 2012 contest in Okinawa, Japan on October.

The 2nd run-up, also named as Miss Nepal Earth 2012 was the 20 year old Nagma Shrestha. She stands 1.78m tall and will enter the Miss Earth 2012 competition in Indonesia.

Completing the 5 finalists were Bandana Tandukar and Neelam Chand.

Miss Monde Guadeloupe 2012 is Brigitte Golabkan

19 year old Brigitte Ramassamy Golabkan was crowned Miss Monde Guadeloupe 2012 during the grand pageant of Miss Internacionale Guadeloupe which was held at the Karibea Beach Resort Gosier in Le Gosier.

Standing 1.72m tall, Brigitte is from Moule City. She will represent Guadeloupe in Miss World 2012 to be held in Ordos Mongolia on August 18.

Jennifer Riveiro Ilende wins Miss Belleza Guinea Ecuatorial 2012

The exotic beauty of Jennifer Riveiro Ilende won the hearts of the judges, as well as the crowd as she was crowned as the very first Miss Belleza Guinea Ecuatorial 2012 / Miss Equatorial Guinea 2012 which was held last April 27 at the Sipopo International Conference Centre in Malabo.

21 year old Jennifer who stands 1.80m tall will represent her native country in Miss World 2012 competition on August 18 in Ordos Inner Mongolia.

The pageant was organized by Agencia Mogue with the help of Constancia Mangue de Obiang, first lady of the nation.

Located in Middle Africa, Equatorial Guinea is the only African independent country to have Spanish as their main official language, with French and Portuguese are also spoken.

Miss Ireland 2012 winner is Marie Hughes

Miss Ireland 2012 grand coronation night was held at the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin. The stunning beauty of Marie Hughes captivated the hearts of the judges as she was declared the new winner.

Rebecca Maguire finished as the 1st run-up. While Katie McAuley finished as 2nd run-up.

21 year old Marie will travel to Ordos Inner Mongolia in China to represent her country in Miss World 2012 pageant on August 18.
