Jaime VandenBerg Crowned Miss Universe Canada 2025

29 year old Jaime VandenBerg from Lethbridge was crowned as the new Miss Universe Canada held last August 9, 2025 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor, Ontario.

Karmen Brar was named first runner-up while Jabili Kandula, Malayika Kwizera, and Kamuahao Hei weret the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Jaime currently works as a model and actress. She holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the the University of Lethbridge. Her commitment to philanthropy led to her recognition with a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal and the International Diana Award.

VendenBerg is no stranger to pageantry, having joined the 71st Miss World competition last year in Mumbai, India and made the Top 40 among 112 contestants. She will now be the official representative of Canada in Miss Universe 2025 pageant on November 21 in Bangkok, Thailand.

29 year old Nadia Grace Mejía Eicher representing the Ecuadorian Community in the United States was crowned Miss Universo Ecuador 2025 held last July 26 at the Palacio de Cristal de Guayaquil, Guayaquil in Guayas. She will be the official representative of her country in the upcoming Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand leter this year.

Miss Tungurahua,  Daphne Currat and Miss Regíon Sierra, Christie Isabel Thermidor were the 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively. 

Completing the top 5 were Cristiane Marques of Guayaquil and Mariola Vejarano from Guayas.

Nadia is not new in the world of pageantry. She previously won Miss California USA 2016 and placed in the Top 5 at Miss USA 2016. She also competed at Miss Universe Ecuador 2024, where she placed as the first runner-up.

The 61st edition of Bb. Pilipinas was held last June 15 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. The pageant was hosted by former Binibini queens: Kylie Verzosa (Miss International 2025), Maureen Montagne (Miss Globe 2021),  Mary Jean Lastimosa (Miss Universe Philippines 2014) and Nicole Cordoves (Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2016).

36 gorgeous Filipinas competed for the coveted crowns. But eventually, pageant veterans Katrina Anne Johnson (Bb. Pilipinas - International 2025) and Annabelle Mae McDonnell (Bb. Pilipinas - Globe 2025) won the titles.

Finished closely were Dalia Varde Khattab and  Kathleen Enid Espenido as the 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.

24 year old Swann is from Taulignan. He was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, Fezile Mkhize of South Africa.

Finished closely as the 1st run-up was Mister Curacao, Zuemerik Veeris. The 2nd run-up was Mauricio Calvo from Mexico. Michael Mazi from Nigeria and Kenneth Cabungcal from the Philippines were the 3rd and 4th runners-up respectively.

24 year old Eduarda Braum from Brazil wins the Miss Supranational 2025 title during the pageant night held on June 27 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sącz in Lesser Poland.

Eduarda is from Afonso Claudio and currently works as a model. She bested 65 other international contestants vying for the crown.

Finished closely as the 1st run-up was Miss Germany, Anna Valencia Lakrini. In 2nd run-up position was Curacao's Quishantely Leito. Ended as 3rd run-up was Tarah Valencia from the Philippines. And finally, Miss Puerto Rico, Valerie Klepadlo placed as the 4th run-up.

Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand is the 72nd Miss World

The 72nd edition of Miss World was held last May 31 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India where 108 international beauties competed.

21 year old Miss Thailand, Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Phuket wins the coveted title and the crown of Miss World 2025. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss World 2023, Krystyna Pyszkova.

Finished as 1st runner-up was Miss Ethiopia, Hasset Dereje Admassu. In 2nd runner-up place was Miss Poland, Maja Klajda. And Miss Martinique, Aurélie Joachim ended as the 3rd runner-up.

The new Miss World, Opal is not new to pageantry. She was previously crowned as Miss Universe Thailand 2024 and went on to represent Thailand at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, where she finished as the third runner-up. Later, she was appointed to represent the country again in Miss World where she won the crown.

Suchata was born on September 20, 2003 in Phuket to parents Thanet Donkamnerd and Supatra Chuangsri. Her family runs a private business in Thalang. She completed her primary and lower secondary education at Kajonkietsuksa School, and her upper secondary education at Triam Udom Suksa School, where she majored in Chinese under the Arts program.

Opal works as a model as well as was pursuing a bachelor's degree in politics and international relations at the Faculty of Political Science of Thammasat University.

Puteri Indonesia 2025, celebrating it's 28th edition was held on May 2 at the Plenary Hall, Jakarta International Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia. Firsta Yufi Amarta Putri representing East Java emerged as the over all winner and crowned Puteri Indonesia 2025. She was crowned by the outgoing winner, Harashta Haifa Zahra. Firsta will represent Indonesia at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland on 27 June 2025, with the goal of securing a back-to-back win for the country.

Completing the finalists were Melliza Xaviera Putri Yulian of Jakarta SCR 1, Salma Ranggita Cahyariyani of South Sumatra 1, and Rinanda Aprillya Maharani of East Kalimantan.

For the first time ever, the finale was attended by international beauty pageant titleholders from Southeast Asia, including Miss Supranational 2024, Harashta Haifa Zahra, and Miss Cosmo 2024, Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari, both from Indonesia, alongside Miss International 2024, Huỳnh Thị Thanh Thủy of Vietnam, and Miss Charm 2024, Rashmita Rasindran of Malaysia.

The 10th edition of Miss Eco International was held on April 19 at the Alzahraa Ballroom, Hilton Green Plaza in Alexandria, Egypt where 36 international beauties competed.

Miss Philippines, Alexie Mae Caimoso Brooks emerged as the new Miss Eco International 2025. Completing the Top 5 finalists were Miss Indonesia, Yulinar Fitrani who also placed as the 1st runner-up. Yelyzaveta Adamska representing Ukraine is the 2nd runner-up. Cynthia Murillo of USA and Repollo Inglis of United Kingdom ended as the 3rd and 4th runners-up respectively.

Ahtisa Manalo Crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025

27 year old Ma. Ahtisa Manalo representing Quezon Province was crowned as the new Miss Universe Philippines 2025 held last May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. She will compete and represent her country in Miss Universe 2025 pageant on November 21 in Bangkok, Thailand.

66 delegates competed for the crown. Finished as the 1st runner-up was Miss Muntinlupa, Teresita Marquez. While Miss Siniloan, Laguna, Yllana Marie Aduana emerged as 2nd runner-up.

During the same event, appointments for The Miss Philippines were also chosen. The Miss Philippines Supranational 2026 was given to Miss Taguig, Ma. Katrina Llegado. She will compete in Miss Supranational 2026 pageant next year in Poland.

The Miss Philippines Eco International 2026 title went to Gabriella Mai Carballo representing Cebu City. She will go to Miss Eco International 2026 contest and will aim for a back-to-back win for the country.

Lastly, the title of The Miss Philippines Cosmo 2025 went to Miss Sultan Kudarat, Chelsea Fernandez. She will represent the Philippines in the 2nd edition of Miss Cosmo later this year.

33 year old, Nguyen Dình Nhu Van representing Vietnam was crowned Miss Global 2025 on March 9 in Bangkok, Thailand. She is a mother of two girls, and the oldest among 52 international delegates competed this year.

Finished as 1st run-up was Miss Jamaica, Keri-Ann Greenwood. The 2nd run-up was Ediris Rivera from Puerto Rico. 3rd run-up was USA's Lindsay Becker. And finally, Miss Philippines, Xena Ramos ended as the 4th run-up.

Miss Piaui, Maria Gabriela Silva Lacerda won the title of Miss Universe Brazil 2025 during the Miss Brasil pageant held on February 13 at the Coliseu Convencoes in Barueri. She was crowned by her country's first Miss Universe (1963) Ieda Maria Vargas.

24 year old Maria Gabriela from Teresina will represent Brazil in Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand later this year.

Miss Rio Grande do Sul, Aline Fritsch and Miss Espírito Santo, Ana Carolina Ceolin finished as the 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively.

23 year old Deanna Marie Maté representing the Philippines was crowned as the new Reina HispanoAmericana held on February 9, 2025 at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz, Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia. She was crowned by the outgoing winner, Maricielo Gamarra of Peru.

Virreina Hispanoamericana 2025 was Miss Venezuela, Sofia Férnandez. The 1st Runner-Up place was given to Miss  Colombia, Sharon Gamarra. 2nd Runner-Up position went to Senorita Espana, Carolina Barroso. Peru's Nikita Palma,  Brazil's Julia de Castro and Poland's Zuzanna Balonek were the 3rd, 4th and 5th Runners-Up respectively.

Miss Alabama, Abbie Stockard is Miss America 2025

Abbie Stockard, a senior nursing major at Auburn University and the current Miss Alabama 2024, was crowned Miss America 2025 on Sunday, January 5, at the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando, Florida.

Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, Stockard claimed the Miss Alabama title in June 2024 before advancing to the national competition. She bested 51 contestants representing all U.S. states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico to take home the coveted crown. A photo shared on the Miss America social media accounts shows Stockard in a white and silver gown, shedding joyful tears as her name was announced as the winner.

As Miss America, Stockard will receive a $50,000 scholarship and serve as a national brand ambassador for the organization throughout her year-long reign. The scholarships provided by Miss America's Scholarship Foundation have been instrumental in supporting Stockard's education at Auburn University.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Stockard is a member of Auburn’s official dance team, the Auburn Tiger Paws, reflecting her enthusiasm for performance and school spirit.

Stockard becomes the fourth Miss Alabama to win the Miss America title, joining previous titleholders Deidre Downs (2005), Heather Whitestone (1995), and Yolande Betbeze (1951).

On Instagram, Whitestone praised Stockard, saying, “When I listened to her private interview competition with the preliminary judges on the film, I found her to be a humble, thoughtful, loving, and sharp woman.”

The Miss America organization, which has empowered women for over a century, awards more than $5 million in scholarships each year to help women across the nation in their pursuit of leadership roles in business, philanthropy, the arts, and education.

During her coronation speech, Stockard reflected on her journey to the crown, saying, “I never really thought I had anything super special about me until I started competing my very first year. I realized that one of the best parts about this organization is that it values authenticity. I fell in love with competing and realized that it doesn’t matter if you have any past experience or not. To thrive in this organization, bring your story, bring your struggles, and know that this is the platform where you get to share them.”

The Auburn community has widely celebrated Stockard’s victory, with many members of the Auburn Family sharing their congratulations on social media.

Malaysia's Rashmita Rasindran wins Miss Charm 2024

The second edition of Miss Charm pageant took place at the Nguyen Du Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 21 December 2024.

36 contestants from countries and territories participated in this year's pageant. Luma Russo of Brazil crowned Rashmita Rasindran of Malaysia as the new Miss Charm 2024 at the end of the event.

Ended as first runner-up was Miss Australia, Alana Deutsher-Moore. While the second runner-up position went to Miss Vietnam – Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh Nga.

Stephany Abasali representing Anzoategui was crowned and won the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2024, by her predecessor Ileana Márquez of Amazonas. Stephany will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant.

Finished as the 1st runner-up was Miss Amazonas, Karin Aridi. 2nd runner-up was Vanessa Perez representing Distrito Capital. While Miss Miranda, Sarile Gonzalez and Miss Nueva Esparta, Vanessa Peroza finished as the 3rd and 4th runners-up respectively.

21 year old Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig from Soborg won the title as the new Miss Universe 2024, the first for her country. She was crowned by the outgoing winner, Shennis Palacios from Nicaragua.

Miss Vietnam, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was crowned Miss International 2024, the first for her country. She beated 70 other delegates all around the world. The pageant was held on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan. She was crowned by the outgoing winner, Andrea Rubio of Venezuela.

Miss Grand International 2024 celebrating it's 12th edition was held at the MGI Hall, Bravo BKK Mall in Bangkok, Thailand on 25 October 2024.

Rachel Gupta representing India beated 68 other delegates and hailed as the new Miss Grand International 2024. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, Luciana Fuster from Peru.

The event also featured the iconic and redesigned new Golden Crown crafted from gold, brass, diamonds, and emeralds.

Top 5

Finished closely as the 1st runner-up was Miss Philippines, Christine Juliane "CJ" Opiaza. The 2nd runner-up position went to Miss Myanmar, Thae Su Nyein.

Miss France,  Safietou Kabengele and Miss Brazil, Talita Hartmann ended as 3rd and 4th runners-up respectively.
