Miss Iraq 2009 - Meet the 20 Official Contestants

Miss Iraq 2009 Beauty Pageant will be held on March 17 and will be organized by Talat Model Management. Titles to be at stake are Miss Iraq 2009, Maiden of Beauty, Queen of Grace and Teen Queen. Jessica Kadoorie, the reigning Miss Iraq 2008 will crown her successor at the event.

Zallascht Sadat, Miss Afghanistan 2009

Zallascht Sadat was officially crowned as Miss Afghanistan 2009 held in Hamburg, Germany where women of Afghan heritage participated in the beauty pageant which was organized by Afghan Models. Madina Taher, Miss Germany 2008 and have competed in Miss Universe 2008 was one of the jurors.

Born in Kabul, Afghanistan on January 29, 1982, Zallascht moved with her family to Germany at the age of 3. She currently studies Business Management. She will be expected to compete representing Afghanistan in Miss Earth 2009, Miss Universe 2009 to be held in the Bahamas on August 30, and in Miss World 2009 Pageant to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa later this December.

Antonia Petrova won Miss Bulgaria 2009 Contest

Antonia Petrova won the Miss Bulgaria 2009 Beauty Pageant last February 14 at the Rainbow Plaza in Sofia. She will be competing representing her country at the Miss World 2009 Contest at Johannesburg, South Africa this coming December. Antonia is 24 years old and stands 1.80m tall. She is currently a student and model and she's from Pernik.

An 18 year old beauty from Dve Mogili was named as Miss Bulgaria Universe, she is Elitsa Lubenova. She will be representing her country at the Miss Universe 2009 to be held in the Bahamas later this August 30.

Ruslana Kaneva was the 2nd run-up and will be cometing at the Miss Beauty of the World Pageant, while the 3rd run-up was Polina Gergusheva and will be going to compete in Miss Tourism Planet of the World.

Miss Bulgaria 2009 Beauty Contest will be held on March 15, where the winners will be competing on Miss Universe 2009 to be held on the beautiful islands of the Bahamas this coming August 30, and to the Miss World 2009 Pageant to be held on Johannesburg, South Africa later this December.
