Representative of France in Miss Universe 2012
An official statement made by the president of the Miss France committee, Sylvie Tellier states that Marie Payet will be the official representative of the country in Miss Universe 2012 to be held on December 19 at the Theatre for the Performing Arts, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Marie was Miss Reunion 2011 and 2nd run-up at Miss France 2011-2012 pageant where Delphine Wespiser was the winner and was unable to compete internationally due to conflict in schedule as the finals of Miss France 2012-2013 will be held in Limoges on December 8.
Payet is 20 years old and stands 178cm tall.
