Miss Continente Americano 2012 Result
Miss Brazil, Camila Serakides won the 7th Miss Continente Americano 2012 also called as Miss American Continent pageant held last September 29 at the Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil, Ecuador where 21 contestants competed.
23 year old Camila was crowned by the outgoing queen, Claudia Schiess of Ecuador.
Finished as “virreina” or the 1st run-up was Miss Panama, Maricely Gonzalez Pomares. 2nd run-up position went to Miss Argentina, Josefina Herrero.
Liliana Santa Cruz (Paraguay), Fabiana Granados (Costa Rica) and Karen Padilla (Mexico) completed the top 5 finalists.
Kesiah Papasin (Canada) was voted as Miss Congeniality, and Karen Padilla (Mexico) was awarded as Miss Photogenic. Melissa Cano (Colombia) won the Best National Costume award.
The current Miss Ecuador Universe 2012, Carolina Aguirre debuts as a professional singer.
