Samantha Widmer is Miss Earth Cayman Islands 2010
23 year old Samantha Widmer from George Town was selected as the new Miss Earth Cayman Islands 2010 at a private pageant luncheon on September 22 in Grand Cayman Beach Suites hosted by N’Vogue Productions, the Miss Earth license holder.
Samantha Widmer stands 5'11" tall and she will represent Cayman Islands at Miss Earth 2010 beauty pageant in Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang, Vietnam on December 4.
The new Miss Earth Cayman Islands 2010 was selected by the directors of N’Vogue Productions/Miss Earth Cayman Islands committee and was formally presented on 28 August at the Grand Cayman Beach Suites. Miss Earth Cayman Islands 2006, Stephanie Espeut, introduced the 2010 winner.
Samantha Widmer is a senior accountant at Ernst & Young. She earned her undergraduate degree majoring in accounting at Elon University in North Carolina and is making preparations to take the CPA exams. An avid sportswoman, she won the Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships in July, was a bronze medallist at the Island Games in Finland in 2009 as a member of the Cayman National Golf Team, and is a seasoned diver.
