A journalism student Deborah Lyra was born in Victoria - (ES), but two years living in the mining town of Divinópolis. It is a model since age 8, and 12 years found what I wanted to be when you grow up: Miss Brazil. With the encouragement of his father he soon began to participate and win some beauty contests allies also a few modeling jobs, but at 15 years to help families pay the costs of the house took a break from acting to work in an export company café where he remained an official for four years.
