Ekaterina Grushanina of Russia wins Miss Tourism Queen International 2009

Miss Russia, Ekaterina Grushanina won the Miss Tourism Queen International 2009 Contest on August 28 held in Zhengzhou, China.

1st run-up to the pageant was Miss Brazil, Vivian Noronha Cia. 2nd run-up was Miss Guinea, Safia Souare. Miss China, Shen Yu Jie named as the 3rd run-up. And lastly the 4th run-up title was given to Miss French Polynesia, Ina Amanda Pater.

Singapore is Miss Internet of Miss Tourism Queen International 2009

Miss Singapore, Valentane Huang wins the Miss Internet Award of Miss Tourism Queen International 2009 (MTQI 2009) Beauty Contest. As the recipient of this award, Miss Singapore, Valentane Huang will automatically became the first top 20 semi-finalist of this year's pageant.



2nd place for Miss Internet Award is Miss French Polynesia, Ina Amanda Pater. While 3rd place is Miss New Zealand, Natalie Sangster.

New Crown for Miss Tourism Queen International 2009

New crown this year for Miss Tourism Queen International 2009 (MTQI 2009) Beauty Pageant specially designed for the new winner. This will be used for official use and coronation of MTQI queens only. The crown was designed by Mr Wisavej Watanasuk, who works as a painter and designer for the Thai royal family. It was sponsored by St Ureka. Co. Ltd.

Amanda Ball of England wins Best Body at Miss Supranational 2009

The Best Body Competition of Miss Supranational 2009 Beauty Pageant was held at the Body Perfect gym in Olsztyn, Poland, on August 22nd. The winner was Miss England, Amanda Lillian Ball. 1st run-up was Miss Belarus, Marina Lepesha while the 2nd run-up was Miss Ukraine, Oksana Moria.

The Best Body award is one of the four special prizes to be handled during the live telecast of Miss Supranational 2009 on September 5th, the others being Miss Photogenic, Miss Friendship and Best National Costume.
