Miss Tennessee, Rachel Smith crowned as Miss USA 2007
21 year old Miss Tennessee, Rachel Smith was crowned as the new Miss USA 2007 on March 23 at Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. She is a journalist who served as an intern in the publicity department at Harpo Productions, Inc. and “The Oprah Winfrey Show”.
Rachel Smith stands 1.80m tall. She was crowned by Miss USA 2006, Tara Conner who is also one of her co-candidate in Miss Teen USA back in 2002. Rachel will represent USA in the Miss Universe 2007 in Mexico City.
1st run-up was Miss Rhode Island, Danielle Lacourse. 2nd run-up was Miss Kansas, Cara Gorges. 3rd run-up was Miss California, Maegan Tandy. And the 4th run-up was Miss Nevada, Geneice Wilcher.
Miss Photogenic award was given to Miss Alabama, Rebecca Moore while Miss Congeniality is Miss Montana, Stephanie Trudeau.
