Maria Perrusi wins Miss Italia 2009

Maria Perrusi wins the most tradition Italian Beauty Pageant, the Miss Italia 2009 (Miss Italy 2009) which was held on September 14 at Salsomaggione. The new winner was crowned by a popular Italian swimmer and beauty contest jury president Federica Pellegrini. The contest was telecast to the whole world by RAI International.

The new Miss Italia 2009, Maria Perrusi is 18 years old and stands 1.82 m-tall. Although it's the most celebrated beauty title in Italy, the winner does not compete internationally.
