Sophie Lavers is Miss World Australia 2009
24 year old Sophie Lavers won the title of Miss Australia 2009 in a pageant held in Sydney where 20 beautiful and gorgeous women have competed.
Sophie Lavers from Canberra was wearing a cream dress adorned with silky flowers when she received the tiara which was a little too big for her head and she mouthed to the crowd: "My crown doesn't fit".
Completing an acting course and hopes to work in the television or film industry, Sophie Lavers was also named Miss World Australia 2009 and will represent the country at the Miss World 2009 Contest to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 12.
