Miss World Malta 2009 is Shanel Debattista

Shanel Debattista was crowned as the new Miss World Malta 2009 in a beauty pageant held at Montekristo and was telecast live by TV Favorite. Shanel is 22 years old and stands 1.70m tall. She will represent Malta at the Miss World 2009 Contest on December 12 at Johannesburg, South Africa.

The 1st runner-up is Sarah Aguis while the 2nd runner-up was Tiffany Pisani.

Other Finalists were Claire Marie Busuttil and Laketic Divna.
