Annelies Toros wins Miss Belgium 2015

Annelies Toros edged out 29 other beauties from all over her country and was crowned Miss Belgium 2015. She is expected to represent Belgium in Miss Universe 2015. Toros is 19 and a student of Communication from Berchem.

Leylah Alliet, 23, of Roeselaere, a student of Marketing, placed 2nd and won the first ever Miss World Belgium title. It is the first time that the winner of Miss Belgium will no longer represent the country in Miss World and Miss Universe.

2nd runner-up was Charlotte Vanbiervliet.

Yuri Uchida of Japan crowned International Queen of Coffee 2015

Yuri Uchida of Japan was crowned International Queen of Coffee 2015 held in Manizales, Colombia.

Vice-Queen was Miss Portugal, Marcia Assuncao. 1st princess was Miss Venezuela, Yulibeth Angarita. 2nd princess was Miss Brazil, Vitoria Bisognin. And 3rd princess was Miss Haiti, Yvanne Jean-Baptiste.

The pageant is part of the traditional Coffee Fair of Manizales, Colombia, and exists since the 1950’s.

Yuri Uchida, the first Japanese and Asian beauty to conquer the title, is 25 years old and a model back home.

During the final interview, translators could not make her understand the question, or translate her answer, when she started crying. The crowd started screaming “Japan, Japan!”, and the judges picked the charismatic Japanese beauty as the winner.

Miss Universe 2014 Welcome Party at Doral Park

The 88 stunning beauties of the Miss Universe 2014 pageant were officially presented to the media and special guests during the Welcome Event held at the Downtown Doral Park.

The event was sponsored by SBA and PAWA airlines. All contestants are now in Doral, Miami to take part in the activities leading up to the crowning of the 6rd Miss Universe.

Nick Jonas And Prince Royce to Perform in Miss Universe 2014

Donald J. Trump and Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, announced the performers who will grace the 63rd Annual Miss Universe Pageant, airing Sunday, January 25 (8-11 p.m. ET) on NBC. The Miss Universe contestants will be hosted in Doral, Florida and the pageant will air live from the FIU Arena. The pageant will also simulcast in Spanish on Telemundo.

Multi-talented, platinum-selling solo artist, Nick Jonas will take the Miss Universe stage during the evening gown competition. The versatile performer will sing a three-song medley from his self-titled album that includes the first smash single and radio hit, “Jealous,” in addition to “Chains” and “Teacher.”

Joining Jonas in the musical lineup and performing during the Miss Universe swimsuit competition is twenty-time Latin Billboard Award winner, multi-platinum singer-songwriter Prince Royce. Latin music’s most successful young breakout superstar Prince Royce is set to perform his new English-language single entitled “Stuck on a Feeling” as well as Spanish-language hit song “Darte un Beso.” Royce is releasing his first English-language album on RCA Records this year. Jonas and Royce are the first of the musical acts to be announced for the three-hour telecast. Fans should stay tuned for more exciting performers.

Bb. Pilipinas 2015 pageant celebrating it's 52nd year will take place on March 15 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Tran Ngọc Lan Khue is Miss World Vietnam 2015

22 year old Tran Ngọc Lan Khue was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2015 at the GEM Center in Ho Chi Minh City on January 5.

The first runner-up was Phạm Hong Thuy Van and she will compete in Miss International 2015 contest. And the second runner-up was Nguyen Thi Le Quyen and will compete in Miss Supranational 2015.

Standing 1.76m tall, Tran Ngoc will compete and represent Vietnam in Miss World 2015 pageant.

Mama Aïssata Diallo wins Miss Guinee 2015

18 year old Mama Aïssata Diallo was crowned Miss Guinee 2015 at the Grand Hôtel de l'Indépendance in Conakry on December 27.

Safiatou Diallo and Yero Bah finished in second and third place, respectively.

Mama Aissata will officially represent Guinea in Miss World 2015 pageant.

Miss Universe 2014 Officially Started

Traditionally, the first pageant of the year was the International Queen of Coffee competition held in Manizales, Colombia. For years and years it was the event that marked the beginning of the year’s beauty pageant season.

But this changed this year, as New Year partiers came back to their homes to witness the rush of the Miss Universe pageant which started as early as last week in Miami.

Delegates from all over the world have been arriving to the United States even before the New Year’s, to finish details of their preparation to the pageant’s 63rd edition.

2014 was the first year – since the inception of the competition in 1952 – that the final did not take place, with the show being moved to January 2015. Although rumors have indicated that there might be another Miss Universe final staged later in the year, nothing has been confirmed so far.

Registration, fittings and official photography are usually the first activities for the beauties. As the contestants continue to arrive, Miami and the City of Doral prepare for the finals to be held January 25th, with a three-hour telecast live on NBC.

Venezuela crowned Miss Tourism International 2014/15

Miss Venezuela, Faddya Halaba Troisi was crowned Miss Tourism International 2014/15 during the conclusion of the annual New Year gala held at the Putrajaya International Convention Center in Malaysia on December 31.

2nd place went to Miss Thailand, Ploy Wutthayakorn, who was crowned “Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International”; 3rd place was Miss Philippines Glennifer Dunggay, “Miss Tourism Metropolitan”, 4th place was Miss Netherlands Charina Bartels “Miss Tourism Global” and 5th place went to Miss China, Sun Weng Kong “Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan”.

In addition, Miss Vietnam Dieu Linh Nguyen was chosen “Miss Southeast Asia”.

Completing the Top 10 semi-finalists were the delegates from Belarus (Katsiaryna Fomina), Guatemala (Jessica Veliz), India (Rashmi Raajput), Nigeria (Victoria Waniko) and Paraguay (Estefani Cordeiro).

62 beauties from all over the world took part in the event, which celebrated its 20 years. Founded in 1994, Miss Tourism International organized by D’Touch International, is the only New Year’s Gala featuring beauty queens from all over the world.
