Nadyalee Torres wins Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2013
24 year old Nadyalee Torres Lopez from Caguas beat out 20 gorgeous candidates and won the title of Miss Mundo (World) Puerto Rico 2013 during an annual contest televised live on Puerto Rico TV and took place at the Luis A. Ferre School of Performing Arts Theater in Guaynabo. She was crowned by last year's winner Janelee Chaparro.
Nadyalee will be the official representative of Puerto Rico in Miss World 2013 on September 28 at the Sentul International Convention Center in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia.
Finished as 1st run-up was Franceska Toro (Toa Baja) and the 2nd run-up was Carole Rigual (Bayamon). Completing the top 5 finalists were Genesis Concepcion (Rio Grande) and Kiara Morales (San Juan).
The top 13 semi-finalists are Gabriela Rodriguez (Cidra), Hilda Rivera (Coamo), Merie Angeline Santana Gonzalez (Fajardo), Giannilys Bergollo (Guaynabo), Layla Nicole Velazquez Rivera (Penuelas), Naneshka Febo Marrero (Toa Alta), Karimar Quinones (Trujillo Alto) and Luisa Raquel Sotero (Yauco).
Carole Rigual (Bayamon) won the Beach Beauty award. Nadyalee Torres Lopez (Caguas) was awarded as Best in Talent. Franceska Toro (Toa Baja) won the Top Model and Sports awards. While Layla Nicole Velazquez Rivera (Peñuelas) wins the Beauty with a Purpose trophy.
